GKGirls Gymnastics Leotards Simone Biles Athletic One Piece

In March, i purchased a Youth Large Leo for my 10 year olds birthday. The Leo was gorgeous and everything she wanted but it was extremely small to be a youth large! Her other Leos fit just fine but this one was not going to work at all. Thankfully, i have an 8 year old daughter who could fit it so i didn’t bother sending it back. So i recently bought another one to replace the present my oldest daughter never got to enjoy...the Leo i ordered this time was an adult small...it’s a bit ill fitting in the crotch area but she will have room to grow in it so that’s nice. UNFORTUNATELY, The sewing job on this latest Leo is terrible. The glittery “v” pattern does not align with the neck. It’s lopsided and one side is sewn into the neck seam as where the other side is not. My daughter was disappointed knowing that the Leo that her sister was given was perfect (besides it not being her size) & the one she finally got is poorly put together. My granddaughter loved the feel and fit of this product. She is in intermediate gymnastics and practices this summer 12 hours a week plus an additional 12 hours at home. She was outgrowing all her leotards from last year and we went to Amazon together so she could pick out the styles and colors. I wish they would offer a coordinating short also.

I couldn’t figure out why my daughter had deep vampire looking scratched that tore her skin until I matched up the leotard against the scratches and it was a perfect match. No reason for supposedly good quality to causes scratches through the leotard. Spent hours at ER to make sure she didn’t need stitches. Would not recommend this one.

We bought this Simone Biles leotard for our tween daughter and - as always with GK products - it is amazingly crafted: beautiful colors, great stitching and stunning sequins. Simply excellent! We also bought a matching Firecracker Grip Bag and it is equally good! With proper care these items will last years.

Actually, I don't hate it as the one star represents but I am very unhappy and disappointed. Here is the deal. The fabric is very uncomfortable and the size was too small. But my granddaughter is a huge Simone Biles fan and is in gymnastics, so we decided to keep it and exchange for a larger size. In my effort to do so, I am informed by the third party, GK Elite Sportswear, LP that they do not do exchanges. I have to return it and purchase the larger size. Not a good way to take care of a customer. This item was not inexpensive. I will not purchase from a third party again.
