Great stuff
Works great on the 12” slices we are using for wedding table center pieces but goes fast.

Does the job
I followed manufacturer's directions for selecting winter cut wood, drying it to 8% moisture , and submerging cookies for 24 hours. I was able to treat fifteen cookies (12" diameter ,1.5 inches thick) with one gallon. I used Ash. No cracks, bark intact. Wood took on an amber hue when wet,but this faded as it dried. The drying process takes time (1-2 weeks). Definitely worth the price.

Good, but expensive...
Had good results with this product, with only a little cracking on a few pieces. would probably work better if you could submerge the wood into it for an hour or two. But the this stuff is way too expensive to do that on large to medium size wood blanks.

An alternative to Cactus Juice
I'll grant you that it takes longer to cure, but there is no cooking needed and is A LOT cheaper. I'm very happy with my results using it to stabilize wood for knife handles.

I have tried other products but this is by far the best.
If you follow the directions this product does the job. It really dries the wood out to prevent cracking and allow to use in crafts. I have tried other products but this is by far the best.
