Un petit hotspot très efficace qui fonctionne plutôt bien. J’ai testé les débits sur la SIM virtuelle avec les 8go offert à l’achat du produit, j’ai (paris) 25Mb/s en download et 25Mb/s en Upload, ce qui permet de faire du streaming sans aucune difficulté. les prix sont relativement correct, un petit plus élevés que les abonnements opérateurs, mais l’idée ici et d’avoir un outil qui puisse fonctionner à l’étranger afin de diminuer les coûts de roaming. Il est juste dommage de ne pas avoir tous les pays.

Bought for the cottage where we have limited LTE in rural PEI. Was a last ditch effort as two local internet providers couldn’t get a signal for service. Have 3 LTE bars and decent browsing speeds with this device. Like the fact we can buy data without a contract so when we’re not here, we’re not paying. Although more expensive per use, cheaper in the long run.

I do not understand those who have said this device is expensive to use. I have returned from a week travelling across Kenya and it was excellent. It costs £6.50 for 1GB of additional data which is ample for WhatsApp and email. The alternative is to buy and instal as local SIM card with Safaricom in the SIM card slot and that costs about £5.50 for 1GB but you have to register that in country. So by any standard the device and costs are as good as it gets in Kenya. I travelled from Nairobi south into Magadi, very remote, but still maintained connectivity except for the most remote spots. Battery is great, it lasts 10 hours continuous but I only turned it on to check messages for 5 minutes here and there so I did not need to charge it all week. If you plan to stream videos or send long video clips and high resolution images constantly then firstly ask yourself what's the point of being in Kenya! Of course if you do that then it will eat up data and the cost will mount up. But that is not what it is for. Even in remote areas there are wifi spots and best to use those for large transmissions. Connectivity is also good. I was still able to connect up to 200m from the jeep. It also allows several people to join but beware that they won't respect your data costs! They need the password to connect and you can block them if you see excessive data usage. The App is good and allows you to track data usage easily, top up the data easily, and even let you turn the device off remotely which is helpful. It does have an annoying pop up box asking you to subscribe each time you open the app which gets frustrating after a while as you can't opt for a 'don't ask again' option. But in summary ignore the negative reviews, they nearly put me off but I'm glad they didn't. If you are looking for a simple mobile wifi router that is easy to use and for checking email and social media then this is brilliant. But if you're a glued to your phone or tablet addict then best advice is to stay at home!

I bought this as I moved into my campervan permanently and the data signal from my mobile was no good so rather than get a new phone contract with a different provider I thought I would try this until my contract runs out and I am free to move. I absolutely love it! It's so compact, I just take it everywhere with me. Usually needs charging once a day with constant use, so I just do it overnight. The free data that comes with it seemed to go down fairly quick, and it seems expensive to buy more, but I got a free e giff gaff sim card to put in and I change the data allowance depending on what I need for the month. It has no issues connecting multiple devices and streaming music, video and for general browsing. I really do love it.

I got about a day of use out of it on holiday. The packages are not cheap.
