Excelent product, shrimp safe!
This is not a quick fix solution. Other brands have ich medications that work much, much more quickly; however, they also usually contain copper which is harmful to shrimp and some other sensitive species of fish such as tetras. I keep two 55 gallon planted aquariums that house red cherry shrimp, panda shrimp, neon tetras, and cardinal tetras. All of these species are extremely sensitive, and usually the high doses of copper in common ich medications kills them faster than the ich itself does. This product contains NO COPPER, and I can verify after having used it exclusively for two years now, that it does work and it is 100% shrimp safe. I've read a lot of the negative reviews on here, and I'm guessing they don't know how to actually treat ich or they expected this product to work miracles. To successfully fight an ich outbreak: #1 Catch it early. 90% of people I know who struggle with high mortality rates don't catch ich early enough to stop it in time. #2 Have ich medication on hand even when your fish are healthy. If you see ich and you don't have the medicine right then, you're too late. It can take days or weeks to get the time to research and find a ich treatment that's right for you. #3 Raise your water temperature to 80F. This speeds up the life cycle of the ich parasite. #4 treat your tank with this product twice a day for four days then drop to once a day for the next three days. After that, do a 20%-30% water change. Follow the dosing instruction, and be careful not to overdose. Make sure you shake the bottle well before dosing. #5 Dose consistently and accurately for seven days. Try to dose roughly around the same time each day. I usually aim for a dosing time window of 1 hour for each treatment. So, if I dosed at 3:00pm yesterday, I try to dose again between 3:00pm and 4:00pm today. Understand that missing a dose give the ich a chance to reproduce and build up strength. You must be consistent and patient! Lastly, do some research on ich if you haven't already. You aren't really treating your fish. You're treating your tank water. Some fish will likely die simple because they could not handle the ich parasite. Their immune systems just weren't strong enough. In my experience, I lose between 0-3 fish per ich outbreak, and I usually have 20+ in my tank. However, I also watch my fish daily, so I usually catch ich immediately and begin treatment. This product works, but you have to be consistent and dose daily. You must also be patient. This won't cure ich in two days. It will likely take a full week of treatment. It definitely works, but it works slowly. If you want fast treatments, chose a product with copper. But, if you're needing a copper-free treatment, this is your product. Good luck with you aquariums, and I hope my review was helpful. Thanks, Kordon, for making an ich treatment that is copper free and shrimp safe!

Effectiveness of the product.
I've had an aquarium for 48 years now. After stocking my 75 ich became apparent so I looked for a product that did not kill nitifring bacteria in a well planted aquarium. I have to say after raising the temperature to 85 and triple doses of ice attack all the patients were gone. I have 6 hillsyream loaches, 6 kuli loaches, 6 red blue faced gobies, 4 blue stripes gobies, 5 clown loaches, several fancy pleco's, 35 neon's, 20 brilliant restoration, 10 clown rasboras, 15 hatchets, 6 bleedibg heart tetras,12 candy cane tetras, 6 Congo tetras, 3 lemons, 4 harlequin tetras, 6 red rainbows, 6 sterbi Cory's, 4 Julie's, 6 pandas, 4 peppered, 6 Brazilian red back Cory's. I lost one hatchet and one brilliant restoration. So many kudos go out for this product. I would use nothing else. Where was this product 40 years ago! I'm very impressed with ice attach. Fantastic product! If you ever need to irradicate ich this product works Fantastic! One of my bleeding hearts had a head wound the became all fuzzy like cotton. Ich attach cured that problem too! I thought it was a gonner but the damaged shin is growing back. Awesome product. I'm a customer for life.

Do not buy - does not work
Do not waste your money on this product. I used 2 gallons of the stuff to treat my 180 gal, using triple the recommended dosage for 3 weeks and it did absolutely nothing. My protein skimmer was off and carbon removed as instructed. I cant believe this Kordon still sells this product.
