Great holster, even better price
Got this for my Ruger LC9. Holster fits well and is very comfortable for EDC, even when seated. As close to "forget it's there" as it probably gets. Retention and ease-of-draw are good out of the box with plenty of adjustability. Several reviews mention the Chicago screws being hard to tighten and/or not staying tight. While the barrel-nut end is still not slotted, I didn't find it to be necessary. I held them in place with a fingertip while starting the screws, and then they grip the holster just fine. Screws also have some sort of thread locker on them. I'll still check them periodically because it's what anybody should do. I'm not using the little wing to hold the mag pouch to the holster so I can't speak to that. I am using the pouch with the included clip on the off-side, and it works well that way.Overall this is a very nice package, with some good features/optional pieces included at a price similar to some other plain-jane competitors. I'll probably get one for my 1911 if I can convince myself to give up the traditional Bianchi FBI-style OWB I carry it in now!

Standard Holster is great, the deluxe feature not as much
SUMMARY / TLDRGet the holster, standard version. Do something else for the magazine holder and don't get the Deluxe features.LONG REVIEWReview after about 3 weeks of daily use for a Glock 19 version.PROS:- Great for left handed, ambidexterous features were very well thought out.- Because it is fully adjustable you can try different configurations to find what works for you, so great as a first IWB holster.- It is comfortable for a hard material holster. After a short while you don't feel it. As noted above, with so many adjusting options it is easy to find a height and rotation that work for you.- Holster retention is good. While excercising and moving the gun stays put no problem, yet drawing is not difficult or awkward. The holster feels really solid.- Blackhawk is very responsive and is really doing a great job of providing amazing tech support for their product.- The cost is incredible for what you get. You can browse around and check, there are not that many similar products in this price range.CONS:- The deluxe features are not as great. The available distance provided by the connector between the holster and the magazine holder is barely enough to cover the width of my Kore belt buckles, thus making it hard to have a comfortable placement. This is partly due to the width of the clips used to secure the system to the belt. I contacted Blackhawk about a longer connector, but they have no plans for that. I also tried placing the whole setup to the left of the buckle, but that did not quite work either as that was too wide and the holster ended up too close to the my side instead of my abdomen.- The magazine holder has to be tightened properly. Out of the box my double stack magazine just let the mags slide out. Blackhawk support hinted me that tightening the top screw on the magazine holder while keeping the bottom screw looser would have the effect of making the top of the holder tighter, thus fixing the issue. This process is not clearly shown on the manual, though there is a good explanation on adjustment related to Glock 43 and other magazines. After the adjustment the magazine retention is great.- While I tried the fully connected setup, the magazine holder performed well. But since that was uncomfortable and I removed the connected feature, However, for large sized bellies like mine, the tendency for the magazine is to hold outwards. This has a couple of issues. First, the magazine prints more than the gun, and second, it has a tendency to rotate enough that the clip may come lose. With my current configuration I have already had a few instances where the whole mag holder just fell out of my belt during activity. And this is with the Kore belt where the clip end fit is super snug. With a loser belt I this just has not enough hold. The hoster does not have this problem because the claw and the larger surface makes it impossible for the whole setup to rotate outwards as dramatically as the unconnected magazine does. Since I have already found out that I can't comfortably use the connected system, this means I am looking for a magazine holder replacement that fits me better.Things I may try:- Figure out a way to put together a larger connector. This should greatly help reduce the outwards rotation of the magazine, and it being attached to the holster would make it really hard for it to come out of position.- I may also try to use the right hand claw and attach it to the magazine. Not quite sure it would help with the rotation, but should help tighten the belt against the clip. The only drawback with this is that the magazine holder has a direction for the mags, and the direction I prefer would have the claw on the wrong side, i.e. drawing the clip to reload would have it pointing the wrong direction I am used to.FINAL THOUGHTSI got this holster to figure out whether I wanted to continue with an OWB setup (outside waistband) or switch to IWB (inside waistband), and I can say this was a great experience. The flexibility to adjust all the parts allowed me to learn a great deal about height, angle, and feel of IWB carrying without breaking the bank. The holster feels great, reduced my print (gun profile showing from my clothes) to almost nothing and has made the gun very easy to reach and very fast to present, thus making me a convert for carrying IWB close to the appendix (though in my case being a leftie with an appendectomy sounds funny).I am a relative neofite to full time carry, but I can say that since I got this holster I never feel the need to remove my setup to do any regular activity. Hiking, Running, Gardening, fixing stuff around the house, the ocassional nap etc ... the holster allows me to have my handgun close and ready all the time, where my older OWB setup could not.Even though I do think the deluxe features are not for me, I am happy I got them. For the price difference the learning experience about what works and what not is invaluable. The deluxe features may be better for a person with more athletic complexity, where the belly does not push the magazine out.

Blackhawk stache g17/g19 x300 holster
I’ve owned the the tlr7 and non light bearing g19 holsters and it’s the most comfortable holster I’ve worn. Once I got the x300 g17-g19 model I was surprised how comfortable it still is even with the x300.I use to own tier 1 holsters with x300 and it was comfortable, due to the harder/sharper edges on the holster. I wear the stache with a comfort conceal belt and it’s very comfortable to me.I run the clips to the lowest setting on the stache and I’m able to conceal a g19 very easily. Note that I do dress around the gun so I wear loose medium fit UA shirts or flannels. This is definitely affordable compared to the bigger name brands and not as hard as kydex, making it comfortable.CONS- there isn’t an option to buy the holster with DCC clips, so you have to buy more extra parts. Or run stock, which I do.-I wish the wing could be raised higher but it works when I have the clips low.- Blackhawk could’ve added a better hinging point in between the holster and mag (kinda like trex/tier1).-They could’ve added another claw to the mag side just like tier 1 does.Over all this is my go to holster with the comfort conceal belt.

Great IWB Holster Kit - Very Adaptable To Your Needs!
I haven't taken a look at Blackhawk Products Group for holster solutions for some time. They fell off my radar years ago when the Serpa was rejected by the shooting community for real (or perceived) safety issues. I decided to grab one of these new IWB Stache Premium Kits to compare it to other IWB solutions I've tested. I am an industry author who reviews holsters for print and online publications, so I have a lot of experience and always get my hands on the best the market has to offer. I recently reviewed the Safariland Haley Strategic IncogX with Magazine Caddy, as well as the Blade-Tech Total Eclipse Kit with side car Mag Pouch and the BlackPoint Tactical Mini-Wing IWB and IWB Magazine Pouch. While all of those are excellent products, they are also cost-prohibitive for many people and the wait times can be weeks or months to get your gear. I also found that the materials used for those products, whether Safarilaminate, Boltiron / Kydex or Polymers - while being tough and durable - were over-engineered and too thick in a way for comfortable tucking into the waistband. (The BlackPoint was by far the most comfortable of those three)The Blackhawk Stache IWB Premium Kit was $120 CAD when I purchased it, which isn't cheap, but it's still much less expensive than the other options, particularly because of the fast, free shipping. Not having to pay duty or import charges is another cost-saver for us Canuck consumers. The material of the Stache is lightweight. It can seem "cheap" when you first handle it. In fact, my first shipment had a malformed Magazine Caddy and I returned it for a replacement, which came promptly. I wondered if the whole thing was really robust enough. After some time setting up and testing a properly finished model, I began to like it a lot. The lighter weight and lower profile of the material is excellent for this application! It is very comfortable. It has plenty of rigidity and protection for IWB carry. I wouldn't want to drive a truck over this or any other holster, but I believe the Stache is totally adequate and will hold up to any condition of use except the most extreme. (It's not a "go-to-war" level of quality) Besides the comfort, the next advantage is the modularity and adaptability. It is ambidextrous in that you can set it up for right or left-handed users. The Magazine Caddy can be used stand-alone or connected to the Holster in a combined setup. The entire setup is very adjustable. Two different pieces are included for connecting the magazine caddy and they allow for different angles of magazine orientation. The ride height is also adjustable by placing the Belt Clip mounting screws lower or higher in the mounting slots. for Appendix IWB (which this entire setup is really ideally suited to) I like the ability to have the butt of the firearm canted left, angled over toward the middle of my stomach and this is easily accomplished by tilting the belt clip angle. The "Claw" for added inboard pressure on the system does help conceal-ability and you can add one of the Claw additional bumper pieces for more pressure. Once I had this system all dialled-in, I began to love it. It takes a while to set up perfectly. My advice is: Go slow, adding one component at a time. Don't torque anything down tight until everything is put together the way you want and you've tried it on with your EDC belt and comfortable pants. Certainly don't add thread-locker anywhere until you've had a chance to practice with it and try it on a few times. Pro tip - when adjusting your Clip angles between the holster and the magazine, to get it right: once everything is assembled, keep the clip screws a little loose and hold the holster over the edge of a counter top. Place the bottom of both belt Clips on the surface and gently get them even, then tighten the screws. When setting your retention on the Holster, simply adjust the two screws evenly until you can insert a fully unloaded and safe firearm into the holster, hold the entire thing upside down over a pillow or other soft surface and give it a good shake. (I call this the "DQ Blizzard Test") It should stay in with some shaking but still draw smoothly. Same goes for the Magazine Pouch.Blackhawk made a great YouTube video to help you with this and it's worthwhile viewing. For the price and easy availability, I would recommend the Blackhawk Stache IWB Premium Kit over many of the more expensive models out there.
