Mr. Toast!!!!! I ate toast last!!!
This game is so cute and fun. Mr. toast HATES chores and wants to have fun and relax maybe go to outer space for a day or just chillax; so your collecting relax cards (which are the green framed cards) with friends that try to help him have fun ( the purple framed cards) The game is about collecting points and its up to 15 points or more, each card has a number value, with the green framed cards that can NEVER be taken from you once placed in front of you in your small area of point collection. Simple right? This becomes a bit difficult once everyone tries to stop you from completing your 15 points with red framed cards or as they are more commonly called in the games as "chore cards." We kept laughing and sabotaging one another and the game was always quick in play. I believe we played 3 times and lasted for maybe 15 minutes or less each time around. I forgot to mention the blue cards which can help you or hinder your opponent in some way. I haven't played one on one with someone but in a small group loads of fun. I have pictures of what comes in the box, as well as some sample of each color card. I hope this helps in the choice of purchasing the game is well played out and very easy instructions to follow fun for everyone in my eyes.Small note: The cards themselves are flimsy and thin. My review is based solely on how the game works and not the material of the game (for material I'd give it 2 and half stars).

Amazing game! Buy it.
I have had this game since 2016 and purchased this one just as a backup in case something ever happens. It is our family tradition game for dinner table game nights. We love it and is always a fun time for all. Except when you throw red cards lol.

Quick, Simple, Easy to learn, kid friendly, fun
This game is a perfect addition if you are trying to get kids into gaming or just want something simple and cute to play at the table. It's fun, it's simple, it's easy to learn, and again, the game is just too cute. I mean, you're helping a piece of toast try to avoid chores and relax. Perfect entry title for trying to get people into board games.

Miles Born knockoff
This is a newer Version of a very old game. It’s much like miles born. Simple concept. I wouldn’t recommend it for gamers out there. If you’re looking for a simple game to play with the kids it’s not a bad choice.

Simple, fun, and addicting.
Arrived quickly and in good condition. Mr. Toast is a super fun game, easy to learn, but with just enough complexity to not get bored quickly, so it's good for kids and adults. The cartoon characters are literally the cutest. Not sure how well this game would travel, as you need table space to spread your played cards and if things start sliding around, you'd probably be in trouble.

Addictive way to chillax
We added 7-8 board games to our collection to amuse us during the holiday stay-cation and snow days. A few classics (like Clue) but mostly newbies like Mr Toast, In A Pickle, Scattergories, etc. Our 11 year old has become addicted to this game! It's a good way to keep kids off electronics and learn a bit of strategy (such as, avoid using purple in order to block reds). Also easy to keep the game "fresh" by adding your own rules depending on the mood and how much time you have to play (such as, play until 20 instead of 15, play until the deck is cleared and subtract outstanding reds from total, etc.).UPDATE: I see in the Q&A that there was a rule change or misprint at some point. Apparently purple cards are NOT a prerequisite to red cards... anyway the game is flexible enough that the players all can agree on what the rules will be at the start of each round. Good times!
