Vera Bradleywomens Straw Tote Bag Handbag

I love the pink parrot and interior of the bag. I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing and I do agree some sort of closure would be nice. The straw is super soft and quality is superb compared to ones in stores. I didn't understand the mixed reviews on size, but discovered the description of the bag is incorrect. This bag is 20 inches long (not 15) and in person it is bigger than what I had hoped for. I am a single person using this on a cruise and now torn if I need such a large bag. Ugh, I love the pink parrot!

I’m a big Vera-Bradley fan! I have been for years! Now that I have this beautiful, flamingo straw tote, I’d really like the green turtle one, also. That looks super cute, too! I can’t wait to take this to the beach with me. This soft, straw tote just SCREAMS summer!I’m very impressed with the quality of this bag, but not shocked. Vera Bradley always provides its customers with top quality purses, totes, belly bags that all stand the test of time. I’ve never had any quality issues with the brand.I was a little concerned when I ordered this, about it being straw. I rarely have great experiences with straw hats/bags, etc. they are usually stiff and prone to cracking and breakage. I’m pleasantly surprised.This is very soft and pliable, and unlike what you think about when you think of STRAW! You definitely don’t have to worry about the ‘S’ word on this one.The flamingo is embroidered onto the purse, which is nice and what I’d expect from the VB brand. It has the brand logo underneath that, also. Another pro is that its HUGE! Ready for the beach for sure! You can fit a lot inside of here.My only gripe is that there aren’t any closures. I’d love to see, not a zipper, but like just a one button, magnetic closure. That wouldn’t ensure everything would stay inside if it tipped, but it definitely would help quite a bit. I don’t think I’d even like a zipper on a tote like this, but just one little snap would be a nice touch, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Just something to take note of.All in all, I do recommend this finely made, quality tote bag to others. I think it will absolutely outlive ANY straw bag or product that I have ever owned by FAR! Worth the $.

This Vera Bradley Tote Bag is the perfect pool, waterpark, or beach companion. The bag is well made from a woven straw. The straw is densely woven and not brittle or dry feeling. The bird on the front adds a nice pop of color and whimsy.The bag is modestly sized and should easily accommodate two towels, some water, some snacks, and sunscreen.The over the shoulder handles are long enough to carry the bag easily and feel soft on the shoulder.All in all... a great beach bag.
