It works!
Had to try this kit before shelling out over $2K on a rebuilt trans and so far glad i did. I only used half the kit to fix the 3 main solenoids and in took care of most shifting issues. Now its just shifting slightly hard in reverse and from 1st to 2nd but no-where near as hash as before. The delayed (flare or cut-loose) is gone and when decelerating or coming to a stop the trans downshift smoothly. Before the repairs, it felt like being rear-ended when up/downshifting. In short, I'm no longer riding a wild Bronco! I will eventually install rest of the kit but can wait until cooler weather...near 102 F in-the-shade is no joke. Then will update results.
