Having this charger as a "built-in" part of my desk is a game changer. I was forever placing things that needed charging around the house, wherever a charger was available. Now the USB ports are right in my desk, and they look good and uncluttered when nothing is plugged in. I can see that the power is on from the small green light in the middle, and charging things now is convenient and at my fingertips.

Overall I'd give this a 3.8 rating. It works as designed, but leaves a bit to be desired in aesthetics and sturdiness. There is nothing holding the unit in place (like a screw on ring from the bottom that many other units have), and the (small) top ring - which could help hide little nicks in the desktop - is only about 1/8" wide - providing almost no 'coverage lip'. They do provide a ring for a larger hole, but it does not help with either of my issues. I guess I'll have to attempt to glue the unit to my desktop to get it to hold still while trying to plug USB cables into the jacks. If these two issues were resolved, I certainly give the product a 5 star.

This works like a charm and is a good size. It does not take up any room. It’s very powerful for all the poets that it has. So I can sit around and charge multiple items at the same time. What a great thing. To have and not have to stretch myself all over the place. The ease of installation was not so easy. But is manageable if u have installed something like a light fixture.

I bought this again to replace the one I had that quit working after 5 years. These are the best USB plugs to put in a couch table or any other desk, Counter, Or table.

bought this to mount just under the edge of our bas in our basement. This has worked great for almost 2years since we installed it. With us constantly having people over and seemingly always needing to charge cell phones that was quite the essential part of our bar area. update 10/31/24 - unit is completely dead. will not charge anymore across any of the four ports. I would've thought it would last longer than it did.. very disappointed and will need to find a more reliable replacement device.

The unit installed perfectly into my desk as shown in the photo. I mounted the unit horizontally, with the plugs facing upwards, which in retrospect, might not have been the smartest orientation because I fear that crumbs and other dirt will eventually fall into the plugs. It has not happened yet, and all four plugs have cables in them, but it is a reasonable concern. If dirt does fall into the plugs, I'll try to blow it out with compressed air.If I had more foresight, I would have attempted to mount the unit horizontally (e.g., coming out of a wall or cabinet, etc.).I'm charging four devices (1) my Apple Watch, (2) my iPhone, (3) my AirPods, and (4) my iPad Pro, and the charger has no trouble supplying current to all four. The unit has been used almost continuously for about two weeks.I would buy another.
