It works as intended. My SDCard slot probably shallower so it does stick out. But compared to the USB dongle next to it, it kinda manageable. I have to worry about the dongle anyway, so does the SDCard.I put up a picture of normal size SDCard, so you can see how deep this card go. You probably need to find the right one for you.

This card reader sticks out about an 1/8 of an inch (not including it's little handle which stick out even further). If you are after a reader that is flush with the 2014 MacBook Pro chassis then bite the bullet and get the Nifty adapter because this one is not flush and sticks way out. As a reader it works fine, just isn't flush with the 2014 MacBook Pro. The seller should remove their statement of support for this product with the 2014 MacBook Pro as it clearly doesn't jive. See photo.

great product for the price, used it to expand the storage on an older Macbook Air. only a small rounded lip protrudes from the side of the laptop and it doesn't catch on everything but can still be removed without the use of tools if needed.

This adapter is the Perfect Size for my chrome book and slides in completely out of the way. I don’t have to worry about accudentally breaking the SD Card now when I put my chrome book into my back back. It’s perfect.

Does not fit flush in a late 2015 model Apple MacBook Pro 15”. Considerable amount of the adapter case sticks out of the laptop. May fit other models fine, but not this one.

The pictures are grossly misleading. The adapter is not at all fitting flush into a MacBook Pro adapter slot. This sucks! It sucks even more that it cannot be returned as its price is below $10.

Bought this for my MacBook Air 13.3. Fits great, slim fit and barely notice its there. Easy to install and remove.

There should be information about this in the product. I have also a Macbook Air, where this adapter fits great, but not for my MacBook Pro 15". It works fine, but does not fit flush, it sticks about 3 mm out of the rim. Seller should adjust the title, or put that on the specs.

Great, works in my laptop, A regular SD card sticks out too far to leave it in all the time.

In my experience the speeds were so slow the sd card was unusable. The size is good but it’s all looks from what i could tell. I tried two sd cards same result.

Sticks almost an inch out of a 13" 2013 Macbook Pro. Speed is much slower than a usb 3.0 flash drive.

It was not comparable with Mac book pro as it was advertised. So it was wast of money
