Banquet Block Aquatic Turtle Food

Much better price then pet stores near by. Not to mention the size is great for my Red Eared Slider who loves to chomp at it and push it around his tank when I give this to him on a trip. At the size it is depending on the time that your gone it should be good for about a week or two but if longer I say go for more. My word of caution though not every turtle is going to like this as usual as it is for turtles to investigate new food, they also have preferences and may not be as privy to it as another turtle. My Mississippi Map is not a huge fan and may take some experimental bites but otherwise leaves it alone. I think this is a great way to feed turtles if you are traveling or even missing their usual diets!

Don't use this if you have any snails or crabs in the tank. Evidently it has added hard minerals that will break down their shell.

I thought this was a GREAT price for a turtle treat, and they are even bigger than expected. However, I have only seen 1 of our 3 turtles even show interest and that was only one time. So, if your turtles take an interest, this might be a great product for you. For me unfortunately, it was a waste but at least an inexpensive waste. Neat little product and came with multiple for the low cost.

These lil disks come 5 to a pack, they are orange, so it’s easy to see if they are being eaten at the bottom of the pool. Brownie loves the taste of them, the quality is great, they last about a week 1/2 depending on how fast she eats it. The nutritional value on these are great for my girl as well! I highly recommend these especially if your going out of town for a few days!

If your turtle is sassy like mine ya might have a bit of cleanup afterwards and I do suggest testing if they'll actually eat it before leaving but mine seemed to like it

I have an almost 40-year-old red-eared slider who has only been fed pellets. My husband and I are leaving for a week long trip in the spring, having someone come in periodically to check on everything. I decided to try these to see if she would eat it. I dropped one in the tank and she watched it drop to the bottom. Soon after I saw her biting off little chunks and eating them. Success! I’m so happy!

My turtle loves.

It doesn't matter what I like, what matters is if my turtles like it, and they do! This is the solution to feeding or supplementing when you cannot be there every day. I throw one or two in - two if away more than 4 days. My turtles will nibble away until it is all gone. Couldn't be easier!

My turtle absolutely loves these. The only down side is that it dyed all the white filter media, including sponges, a rusty pink color. That's the only bad thing I guess.
