HOMCOM 10L/Day 2000ML Portable Quiet Dehumidifier for Home Laundry Room Bedroom Basement, Electric Moisture Air De-Humidifier with 3 Modes

I guess I got a defective item because I ran it in a room with wet clothes for over 24 hours and the clothes did NOT dry and the water tank in the unit was bone dry. I read through the manual, and couldn't find that I'd missed something (the manual is not helpful generally).I initiated a return but the seller does not seem to have set up a returns process properly so all I got was a label to print and no other details. I had to contact Amazon Customer Service who were sufficiently stumped and just refunded me on the spot, which I appreciated. But that leaves me with the problem of having to dispose of an item that can't go in the ordinary garbage as it contains refrigerator coolant.A day later the seller started emailing me, asking for photos of damaged packaging even though i was clear in my returns comments that the package was not damaged, the item runs but fails to dehumidify. I emailed with them no fewer than 5 times, each email from them seemed like they had not read any previous email, providing me with a distinctly groundhog day-like experience.Their initial offer was to give me 25% off and let me keep the item. Why would I want to pay 75% of the cost for an item that doesn't work? When I challenged that, they said they'd collect it and gave me a date for the pick-up but when I agreed to that and asked for the pick-up details I got yet another email saying I could keep the item and put it to some other use. What other use can I find for a dehumidifier that doesn't reduce moisture from the air? It's not really garden ornament material!When I replied and said I didn't want it and to confirm pickup they retracted the offer saying "since the order has been refunded, we are not liable in any way to collect the item".It seems other people were lucky enough to get a functioning product but do you really want to take a chance with a seller who considers that to be reasonable service? Not worth it unless you want to be like me and get stuck paying the cost for the council to pick it up and dispose of it.

Highly recommend this product. I put this in my conservatory with a load of washing on the clothes horse and within 5 hours it was all pretty much dry. It’s pretty quiet too. Photos attached to show the size of it.

Have a damp wall . Product seems to be doing the job of drying wall out. No noise level, easily movable. All in all very pleased with Product.

It's just a perfect little machine there's nothing wrong with it at all. Much quieter than my last one. Expels dog flatulence wonderfully too ! 💨 to the lady who wanted to how much it took to run for an hour .this is the only way I could find to answer you Amazon stop accepting my phone. I can't gauge that ,as I have other things running but my electric metre tells me it doesn't cost much at all

Works really well and takes 10L of water out of the air each day. We bought it for our pub which had a water leak and it's really made a difference (the leak is now fixed) we do run it with an external tank (motorhome waste tank) as the internal 1 is a bit small so needed emptying twice a day. Excellent product for the price.
