camping for 3 nights and they were awesome! We wanted something that wouldn't break the bank ...
We used these for the first time last weekend, camping for 3 nights and they were awesome! We wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but would make it more comfortable for camping for long periods of time and these fit the bill! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that they did not really self inflate. The directions said that they could take a little longer the first time but after leaving them for a few hours, they still hadn't really inflated. Luckily we had an air pump with us and were able to inflate them that way. But if you are planning to use them for backpack camping, be advised that they may not inflate on their own.

Good camping pads for families.
I bought three of these earlier this summer for myself and my two young sons. I use mine on a Coleman cot, and they have used theirs on the floor of the tent. These inflate easily, however, I recommend following the suggestion that you immediately open it upon receiving and let it expand for a few days β I only did that with one of the three, and that one seems to expand now more than the other two.I can't speak for using it on the ground, but the boys seemed to sleep okay, and I liked that the mats could be snapped together because they moved around less on the tent floor. I half-inflated the pillows and used them underneath regular bed pillows, which worked very well for support and to keep the bed pillows in place. To roll up again, I deflated the pillow, opened the pad valves, rolled it up from the pillow end at the full width once, closed the valves, folded it in half, rerolled it, and opened the valves again when I was about 2/3 of the way to the end to let the remaining air out before securing the valves closed again for storage. Doing it this way they rolled up back to the size they originally came in and were easy to secure with the built in straps.Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of these versus the price. I expect to get a number of years of camping use out of them.

Fair product, the value for money spent made 4 stars
Four stars because of value for money, somehow I got the impression this thing was 1 1/2 inches thick, mine gets too 3/4 of an inch. The other drawback is you better inflate this thing at home and by mouth the first time or it will barely get to 1/4 of an inch. Getting past the thickness, it does work well in providing cushion between you and the ground, and after the first inflation seems to inflate well on its own, and to be honest at the price I paid for it, the value for dollar is pretty high, if it were priced the same as others, and with the shortcomings, it would barely rank 3 stars.

VERY COMFORTABLE!
Very comfortable! My boyfriend had a bag similar to this that he used to go camping with. It's comfortable and extremely easy to set up, just unroll it and get cozy. I work at the university where I attend and am usually there literally from sun up to beyond sun down. I live about 20 minutes away. I'm the kind of person that needs a looooot of sleep to function, so! I got this little bag! Now I can take a nap at school whenever and wherever I want!I especially love the carrying case! I'll upload a picture later. It's exactly the color of the bag. It was a little hard to get it back into at first, but you get used to it. My friend snapped some pix of me napping, which I have attached. The only thing you have to blow up is the pillow, which I like because I need a soft pillow to support my gigantic head, lol.I was really surprised by how comfortable it was, I mean really. I generally have a hard time falling asleep AT ALL. But sleeping under the shade of a tree with a cool breeze and the rustling of palm trees... I was KNOCKED OUT. I wasn't worried about safety, we don't have much crime here and it was broad daylight.Anyway, great bag! I highly recommend! It's crazy convenient and comfortable!

Not good for side sleepers
This is a great product... but, I didn't consider or even think about the fact that I'm a side sleeper. If I lay on my back with this product it is very comfortable. However, if I sleep on my side all night I wake up in the morning with sore hips and shoulders. My ten year old broke one of the straps after first use... but the overall pad has been very durable and held it's own even in 23 degree weather. In conclusion, I would say this is a great pad for camping on a budget and for people who sleep on their backs or stomachs.

Small, comfortable, easy to use. Great for tent camping!
These sleeping pads were great! Felt like sleeping on an air mattress, but takes up far less space. Bought two of them and connected them together, and it worked prefect with our double sleeping bag for a few nights of camping. My husband has some back issues, and he slept just a well as at home on our bed. We did not feel the ground while laying on it and both of us are side sleepers.Very easy to inflate (though you need to follow the directions and inflate overnight before using it to let the foam re-acclimate), and incredibly easy to deflate! If you are taller than 5'10" or so I would recommend getting the pad without the attached pillow. The pillow was great, though if you are tall your feet may be sticking off the sleeping pad. There is only one thing I would like to note to those who are thinking of purchasing a self inflating air pad of any sort. You should store them inflated if you are storing them for an extended amount of time, so the foam's default is to want air and will inflate on it's own. This was my first time using a self-inflating air pad and so had no idea I would to keep it inflated to keep it working properly if I was not going to be using it for a while.
