Shadow is a pretty color and goes on smoothly but it is much lighter than shown. More of a flesh color than a taupe.

About two years ago, MAC manufacturers seemed to start packing their shadow pans too lightly and I was running out in half the time. I guess enough people complained because they're back to normal and perfect for a million different uses!
