This book was recommended to me . Happy that I did so far I am really enjoying it! Great author he guides us with such much needed knowledge. Must buy if you need more guidance with network marketing or if you are new to it.

I e been in Direct Sales off and on. This book is great for newcomers. But, as I got more towards they middle of reading, the hi-lighter came out and noticed things I didn't know and are good reminders. I recommend readingthis book. It's worth the price.

I have been in network marketing for over ten years, failing miserably. I tried this company and that company. Wasn't going anywhere untill I bought this book and used it.This book should be called "How To Become Brilliant on the basics" and subtitled "How To Unleash Your Potential in MLM." It sure did for me.Before reading "Your First Year in Network Marketing", I thought I would be lucky to get 100 people on my list. After reading what Mark said, I easily came up with a list of over 2,000 and the bst part is that those 2,000 know 2,000 who know 2,000 who know 2,000 and so on. I think it is true that if you know three people, you know everybodyelse in the world.The affirmations were great and got me thinking bigger. The scripts were a great start, although I have midified them since then.Overall a great book by Mark. I wonder how many other failed network marketers would do well if only they read (and applied) this wisdom?

Honestly, I just can't get into this book. I am having a hard time getting past the first few pages. I personally think it is the set up of the pages to be blunt. I have read some good stuff as I have skimmed through the book and read eye-catching sections, but for me to sit down and read this book and highlight the good stuff and take notes--- yea, well it is just not happening with this one.Information wise, what I am reading is good- This couple certainly hits both sides - the misconceptions and well as the reality of the network marketing world.One thing I do like is the summary at the end of each chapter (one reason is becaus eit is a different font and page set so it is easier to follow) but mainly because it really does highlight the good parts of the chapter.Happy Selling! This book helps you to see network marketing as it truly is. It does prepare you for the challenges and disappointments that are to come. It also helps you see how friends and family can turn on you when you do your network marketing thing. I had friends who I thought would support me no matter what. Well I was wrong. As a network marketer, your "friends" will start to treat you like you have the plague. They become so fearful that over drinks or dinner, you are going to try to pitch them again that they dodge you. It applies even over the phone or Facebook. It would have been hilarious but I must admit, there were times I was offended. Regardless of how you supported them with their hair-brained schemes over the years, they run in the other direction when they find out you are a "NETWORK MARKETER". Yikes! Lol. This book helps you understand that it is in the nature of your family and friends to "save" you from your network marketing career. At least that is what they think they are doing. It is up to you to stand your ground in what you are doing and show them how serious you are. The book tells you how to deal with these situations. That is why this book is a requirement if you are not only starting out but if you have been networking for years and start to become frustrated. There are great tips on how to approach others as well as great background stories that you just might find familiar. If you are a network marketer and have never read this book, I suggest you get started by purchasing it today.
