Retention Clips/Rivets With Pry Tools Kit Pros: –Selected this packet specifically for two types of retention clips with metal pry tool needed to add fender flare mud flaps/guards on my 2025 Hyundai Venue SEL. Don’t know whether the other types of included clips are compatible with my vehicle but have them just in case. This assortment was more economical than purchasing the two required clip types and pry tool separately. Other thoughts: –All the clips arrive in individual plastic bags, sorted by clip style. Need to keep them in their bags or find a storage box with individual compartments to keep them organized. –Decided to purchase this kit in advance of starting the mud flap installation project. Have read different opinions about retention clips, some claim they are one time use others state they are reusable. My fender flares use one round top and one philips head clip; only need 12 total so will have more than enough for this project. –Initially thought I would be more comfortable only using a metal pry tools but these nylon tools are very solid, good quality. The length of the metal bar gives more access in tight areas. All-in-All, this was a good purchase.

The come with five or six different sizes. I only used two clips of one size so far, but they are working great. One I used to secure a panel I needed to remove twice and the clip was easy to remove and then reuse.

I ended up returning this set because it didn’t fit my car even though Amazon showed it as compatible. The clips themselves looked sturdy and came in a nice organized bag, but unfortunately, none of the sizes matched what I needed. If the fit guide had been more accurate, I probably would’ve kept it—it’s a good value, just make sure to double-check your vehicle’s specs before ordering.
