I enjoy making all of these different flavors of risotto. The mixes are very easy to make ( it takes 25 minutes to get to 'wave' stage for me. I just keep stirring until it's the right texture). I usually substitute 150 ml of white wine for some of the water, which really enhances the flavor. I also add a small can of good albacore tuna to make a more substantial small meal, and adding a cup of peas makes a sort of 'risi & pisi' Venetian comfort food. Add some butter & cheese: perfect!

If you can boil water, regulate a stove burner and own a stirring spoon you are your way to a perfect side dish for a nice meal. We joined the risotto w baked chicken one evening and pork chops the next. The four variety pack is nice to have mushroom or cheese. Rice was very good quality and the prep work was a breeze. We plan to order more. Delivery was quick

I really like this product but can’t rate it higher because of the ‘best by’ dates. I would not mind so much if it were only one package, but I can’t use multiple packages in less than four months. These have the same ‘best by’ date as packages I bought last year.

Should have asked. Contain lactose, and U cannot eat this, but definitely serve it.

Risotto is one of our favorites, either as the entree for our occasional all vegan dinners or as a side dish. These, made in Italy, easy to prepare, risotto varieties are delicious. So easy!! Worthy of becoming a pantry staple. We loved the mushroom ( added some additional jarred mushrooms) the best. That and a salad-an easy weeknight dinner!

Who doesn't like risotto? Creamy and cheesy.

I got these items in Dec of 2022, but the packages say they expired in 2019. They are also non returnable so I just got ripped off and no way to get my money back. Stay away from this item.
