In the search screen on Amazon I typed "Amano pix 200 ribbons" I ordered the 12 pack available in Amazon prime for $15.95 from gorillasupply....they've worked really well so far...I use them in multiple timeclocks at my dealership which get heavy use

Does it use special time cards?

The PIX200 can use any side loading time card. It does not require any “special card”. The unit simply prints perpendicular to the margin of the paper inserted, with a margin adjuster that can adjust the imprint right to the edge of the paper (or timecard) inserted up through about an inch or two away from the margin. And the imprint can be programmed for right handed print or left handed print which means it will print correctly (not upside down) off either the right margin or left margin, as programmed. The most common time card we sell for use with the clock is #K1400D which is a one sided card that has Monday to Sunday on it with 4 positions next to each day to punch (in/out for the day, and in/out for lunch), which is the common format for time cards sold for use with any side loading unit. There are many different time cards that are similar however with different form numbers. The unit can also just be used as a timestamp to imprint on any piece of paper inserted into it.
