Williams-Sonoma Kids in the Kitchen: Sweet Treats

This is a classic Williams Sanoma cookbook that has been in our kitchen for years now. i appreciate the structure of the book and how it has held up even with the countless spills that have landed on the pages. A great option for when you want something sweet.

The recipes are simple and delicious. The ingredients are things you would have in the pantry. The book gives clear instructions. This book is great for all ages.

Bought several in this series for Christmas gifts for my 8 year old - she loves them and has put post it's on all the recipies she wants to try. Super easy to follow instructions and great creative ideas.

I purchased this cookbook for my 10 yr. old Grandaughter. It is very well illistrated with plenty of pictures ans easy instructions. There are actual kids creating the recipes unlike some of the other childrens cookbooks that only show hands. She loves it and has made several recipes, all with sucess. I would reccomend this childrens cookbook. All the WILLIAMS SONOMA CHILDRENS COOKBOOKS I HAVE BOUGHT ARE EUQUALLY AS GOOD AS THIS ONE. Great recipes in each book.

This book is a great Mother's Day gift for any mom, friend, aunt, or grandmother. I purchased it for my mom to give her some ideas to do with my two daugthers whenever they visit her. I also bought matching aprons to go with the book and it turned out to be a great gift. The girls have a blast making new, easy, and creative treats with grandma...great memories that will last a lifetime!

If you have a young one that wants to explore their creative "foodie" side, this is the book to start on. Kids love sweets, do what better way to get them involved in cooking then making what they love? Highly recommended for that young budding chef in your life.

My 9 year old daughter has taken to reading cookbooks lately and really wanted this for her birthday! She loves this book and has helped make a few things in it already. Great pictures and easily understood instructions.

I purchased this for a nine year old baker - and will be giving it to her for Christmas. So, this review is from an adult perspective - the directions are easy to understand and the photos are okay. My disappointment was with the amount of recipes for the cost of the cookbook. There are 25 recipes - I would have preferred more recipes and less ideas/text. Plus, I would have preferred more "fun" type of desserts - to lure-in the young baker.
