101 Spy Gadgets for the Evil Genius [Graham, Brad, McGowan, Kathy] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. 101 Spy Gadgets for the Evil Genius Review: Wow, must read! - Doesn't matter what your interest is, you can learn something from this book. I had no intention of building any of the projects, but after reading the book through, and realizing how easy and honestly fun some of them are, I just have to give them a try. Great pictures, and easy to read text not only help you build your projects but also include detailed explanations of why it actually works and what could be changed to fit your needs. Unlike some of the other Evil Genius books authors, Graham actually uses parts from old electronics that normally cost you next to nothing. And his website and forum will help you with any problems you have, as well as update anything new he wants to add. Easily the best book in the Genius series. Much enjoyed! Review: It has helped this evil genius - With a bit of tweaking to update some of the ideas to use what's available today, I have found this book very helpful. I'm an Indn female living alone in the country. In racist ND, that is taken by some idiots to be an open invitation to harrassment or worse. The local sheriff's department is not always helpful - some deputies are racist &/or misogynist & the sheriff has done nothing to discipline them when anyone complains. But then, some of his female staff have reported that he has fondled them, & there's little in the law to use for recourse short of recall elections & complaints to the County Board - which has handled the problem, but still.. So, using the ideas in this book along with some of my own I have better security than before & that's always a great thing. I recommend the book.

It has helped this evil genius

Muahahaha! My plans are nearly complete....
This is the kind of book that, if it falls into the hands of an inquisitive youngster (or even an oldster) it might change the course of their life completely...in a good way. I suppose it could conceivably send someone off down the wrong path as well, but that's not what I was thinking of a moment ago when I started writing. I was thinking about those times--those discoveries and aha! moments in my life--where everything just clicked and was all cool and interesting enough to make me invest myself in it completely and never look back. Those moments have been very few and far between, but this book might well have been the occasion of one of them if it had existed (and I had run across it) at just the right time. Because there's some genuinely cool stuff in it to build, and the directions on how to do that couldn't, for the most part, be much clearer or complete--even for the greenest beginner. I'll have to defer to others about parts lists and photographic accuracy and so on because I haven't actually built any of the gadgets yet, but in my read-throughs I have tried to imagine myself following the instructions as I go and I've encountered nothing so far that has set off huge warning bells or anything. In my opinion, this is a great book for hobbyists, spy fans, and would be designers/hackers of electronicky-type stuff...

Evil genius spy gaget review
Some very intresting projects, however be prepared to get sucked in as equipment and background knowledge in electronics is a must. There is a distinct difference between the evil genius books in the way they are written in terms of assumption of knowledge. This particular edition requires the reader to have an In depth understanding of schematics.

Mini who me?
Although this is a cool book, a lot of the stuff in it is really a fun surprise, but it won't make you an evil genius. First, if you want to be said E.G., you must be a genius, then you have to be EVIL, which is hard, unless you are a jerk, since people tend to decalre wars on you and what not, and somehow nature has figured out how to make sure that (a) if you're a jerk then (b) you're probably not a genius. And for the rest of us? I mean, really, who has time to think up ways to take over the world that won't bring Homeland Security knocking at your door in the wee hours with a black canvas body-bag and an iron collar? But it's really a fun read and some of the ideas are things I'd actually do on a rainy Saturday when football is over.

Spy stuff and fun projects!!!
Great book! I give it five stars! Fun projects you can build cheaply using stuff you find in thrift stores or for free if you are willing to look inside Salvation Army dumpsters! Projects are great if you are a private eye, company internal security guy, or a kid who wants to really bother your family, friends and neighbors! On the more serious side,if you are into nature, you could probably use alot of the night scope and amplified ear stuff for bird/ animal monitoring. Be rational using this stuff! You could get in trouble if you follow your evil genius side! But...that's why you are looking at this book isn't it...MAH!, HA!, HA!, and HA!

Not for Me
Couldn't understand a damn thing in this book. Definitely not for someone who isn't already pretty technically savvy.

10 years before I was crazy about this book, was a student back then. And I knew for sure I can't afford this book, it was like 2000 Rs and was not available in India or payment facility for Amazon USA was not possible. And today I feel so happy, THIS THING WAS AN ABSOLUTE SCORE, it was an used book, still I took the risk and bought it for 350 Rs. Guess what it was in mint condition, thanks for Amazon India for helping me fulfill my dream come true. Final note, laws of attraction do work, indeed!!!

Good book that my son has had lots of laughs with. He has tried some of the spy gadgets and they seem to work.

It's a great book for anyone wanting to get to grips with a combination of creativity and electronics, but most of the gadgets that this book covers are pretty old school in comparison to the possibilities of the technology you can develop today.
