I bought two of these lighters for gifts. They arrive with enough charge to test, but instructions say to fully charge before use. It only takes about two hours to charge normally, it only took about 30 minutes for the first charge. It is just so cool, wind proof, no fuel to buy, just charge once in a while, filp the top, push the button an light. They make a great gift, not just for those that smoke, its a great windproof lighter to take camping, have in the kitchen, and emergency use. For the cost, which is about the price of a five pack of disposable lighters, you can have this totally cool plasma lighter.

I recently purchased an electric plasma lighter, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Fist few hours it's pretty good. A little different to use than regular lighters, but didn't take long to learn the right distance. Minor wind resistance vs regular lighters as well, noticeable but not huge. Charge goes kinda fast, but it's rechargeable and regular lighters aren't. Butane lighters are, but require buying fuel that in some cases is easy to waste. This just requires a cable. That cable however isn't usb c or a, it's a micro usb on the lighter side so if you don't have one, order one, just make sure the other end is what you need for the power source end. Haven't tried charging it yet, so if there is a problem there I'll try to edit this. EDIT: small battery indeed. runs down fast, charges fast as well at least.

This is a fantastic lighter without fault so far (I will update if any issues arise). One thing to point out and this is very important, is that at first you will want to charge the lighter for about the recommended time in the instructions (1.5 - 2 hours) and no more than that. If you do not initially charge the lighter properly (or allow a battery drain), you will destroy the battery as some users have done. You also should never allow Li-ion batteries run near 0 or even below 25% if you can help it to preserve the battery life. I have lit 10 cigarettes and a few candles without a battery percentage drop. The lighter seems to be of quality, is lightweight, but is durable. The top portion of the lighter holding the filament, could be stronger as well as the igniter wires. The lighter encasing is great. The top hinge is solid and stronger than any lighter I have ever used with a solid snap and tightness. I would recommend this lighter for now as I will update this if I find any issues with more regular usage. Thank you for reading. [Update] After one week of usage and one week of storage this lighter holds its charge. If you constantly use it, a full charge will last about 3-4 days (over 10 cigarettes). If you barely use it, the lighters charge will last 1 - 2 weeks. Great lighter for cigarettes but not so great for cigars. Thank you.

I got this product for a friend a while back. He loved it and worked really well especially when it is windy out and it is hard to light a typical flame lighter. He has uses this product for roughly a year now and it still works great! The battery life was never really great when he first got it (it probably only lasted for a good 15 he’s before it died) and he says that’s has been getting shorter and shorter as he continues to use it. It did come with a charging cord and still worked after a year. Pretty pleased with the results. It does hurt extremely bad if you accidentally light it and touch it with any. Post part so be careful where you put your fingers!

I absolutely love this little lighter, it's super light weight, very sleek and astecially pleasing, quick charge and semi long lasting. I use this when I work to light my smokes on break and it lasts all day no problem. So this probably doesn't NEED to be said but if you're just a big kid like me (31 male) you might think....."hmmm how does that work" and are inclined to touch the prongs while it's lit.... Don't. This thing is basically a mini taser and will shock the hell outta you while giving you a strange looking 4 dot burn. Super neat but don't get curious! *Edit* it has been just a few weeks shy of one year since I've bought this lighter and this thing is still going strong! I charge this thing maybe one every other day, idk if I just got a super battery or what but I haven't had anything close to some of the issues others have. You absolutely need this lighter if you need something to light your smokes on break at work or wherever. Will be buying more of these for friends and family!

Takes more effort to light a cig as it only burn whichever side is exposed weed i harder as the tip doesnt reach the weed but when it does its a clean smoke, also have zero clue what the battery is at ever cuz when i open the lid the whole thing lights up witch i can do with out like seriously wtf does it need to light up for any who i tell how low on charge it is by the spark it give off, i wouldnt buy again but as a gift ill take it all day

Works great my husband uses it for his cigars. The battery does run out pretty fast but that could be because he uses for his cigars which takes a while to light sometimes. It does charge up pretty quick though so that offsets it running low quick. He's had it for 2 months and it's still working!
