Informational guide to alkalinity
If you are looking for a recipe book, this is not that. This is an informational guide walking the reader through Dr. sebi's ideas and theories. The book explains the premise of what the diet entails and how it works. Tgen the author goes over some of the most commonly used high alkaline foods. My only complaint is in this section. I could have used some photographs here. I think that would have help me visualize the i gredients. However, overall, this book is meant as an informational guide book and it serves that purpose well.

An interesting diet for folks with chronic pain
I got this book because I suffer from chronic inflammation in my knees and shoulders, I hope that by following the diet proposed by the author I will see a decrease in pain. The author affirms that as a result of following this dietary plan, your overall levels of inflammation should decrease by eating alkaline foods and by cutting out with highly acidic foods. Dr Sebi's anti-inflammatory diet is mostly geared towards people who are struggling with loosing weight, since it is a very restrictive diet and the caloric intake from this diet is fairly low.I would say that the information and recipes provided by the book would be most useful for folks trying to lose some weight and decrease some chronic aches and pains.

I greatly recommend this book if you wanna get healthier. Dr. Sebi's diets are really easy to follow and prepare, simple and tasty. They have help with my allergies and ease my knee joints pains. This is an educational handbook that takes the reader through Dr. Sebi's beliefs and views. The book describes what the diet is all about and how it works. The author discusses some of the most consumed high alkaline meals in this section. Recommended this book to my family doctor, and he loved it. He will pass it on to his patients.
