Why does my drill bit bend after 1-2 uses?

This is usually caused by excessive vibration while drilling. The drill bit must remain stable at high speeds, allowing only slight side-to-side movement to aid chip removal. Excessive side-to-side vibration can cause the drill bit to warp.

Why do drill bits become blunt so easily?

The main cause of drill bit blunting is hard, vertical pressure. The correct method is to keep the drill spinning at high speed and apply gentle pressure. Cooling with water can effectively extend the drill bit's life.

Is it necessary to add water while drilling?

Wet drilling with water is recommended. Adding water lowers the friction temperature, reduces diamond grit burn. If conditions prohibit adding water, intermittent drilling is recommended, pausing every few seconds to cool the drill bit.

How to prevent the drill bit from slipping on tiles?

First, drill a groove with a triangular bit. Then, at a high angle of approximately 45°, drill a groove and then continue drilling vertically.

My drill bit feels dull after use. Is it worn?

Usually just a layer of coolant wax on the edge, which feels dull, but is harmless. The drill is only truly dull when it can no longer penetrate the tile while drilling.
