The quality of this glove is evident immediately upon receipt. The glove's color scheme is attractive and the rose gold is subtle. I purchased this mainly to use while catching for my 10yo daughter whose pitches are already becoming too hard and fast to comfortably catch with my fielder's glove. I did not care for the white leather version, so the gray was a nice option. I do not care how I look using the glove, but it is nice that the rose gold trim is not overly-feminine.Many reviews stated how difficult it was to break in this glove. Yes, it is quite stiff upon receipt, but I looked forward to taking the time to make the glove mine. After three days of working with it (manually manipulating, using a glove mallet, wrapping with a ball inside, and playing catch), the glove has already become quite supple and a pocket has developed nicely. The leather and all lacing are top-notch and I have enjoyed working on it while watching TV, relaxing on the beach, and sitting on conference calls.I used someone else's glove (same model) before buying this one and I was shocked by how nice it felt and the satisfying sound of catching a ball in the pocket. I am thrilled that my glove already has the same feel and sound and I look forward to having this glove within reach as my daughter continues to develop.

This is a great glove. We bought it for our 11 year old daughter. It does take some time to break in. It might be slightly large for her hand, but in another year or two it should be perfect and will be perfectly broken in. It is definitely usable for a 11 year old as long as you get some of the stiffness out and tighten to fit.

Great design and quality…. My daughter wanted an infield glove and I see no better than Rawlings. This glove is a gamer but holy cow was it stiff. Just took little hammerin punchin pounding rubbing wrapping and kicking…. And we’re almost there!!

Love the fit and the value. Broke in fairly quick and easily. The shallow pocket is definitely quite shallow, perfect. Great at SS or 2nd Base, or for any IF that likes a short glove and a shallow pocket. I wouldn’t recommend it for OF use though.

Really nice glove. Breaks in easy too. Good quality leather. Will last a really long time. My daughter plays travel and is excited to have this glove for a long time.

My daughter plays College softball. It’s the right length. It’s a little stiff had to have it steamed. How it’s good.

Gave 4 stars because we were looking for a glove we could break in fast. This one claimed to be mostly broken in... It was stiff as a board when we got it. Been working on it with my hands, a mallet, and wrap for several days and it's starting to loosen up. My daughter was able to catch with it today, but it still has a ways to go. All that said, it's a great glove from what I can see. We'll see how it holds up.

This is by far the most amazing mitt I have used in 50 years. Durable, dependable, and gorgeous. Works well with my hand. Didn’t have to fight it to break it in.
