Great Product!
This product pleasantly surprised me with the sturdiness and weight of the actual frame. It was definitely better than expected. The quality of the paint/coating seems to be very good as well. Not only was the frame built well, but the ratchet straps and all the hardware seem to be of great quality as well.To top it off, the whole package came to me very well in tact, and the layout of the packaging was very well done and put together. Will definitely be purchasing more products from this company for myself and as gifts to others in the future.

Possibly used rack that can’t be assembled
I bought this for my upcoming trip and I was highly disappointed to see that the accessory bags were opened. After taking the rack out of the box and all of the screws, I went to assemble the rack but the pole that connects to the little pole is bent and you can’t connect the two poles which makes the rack useless. Very disappointed! I will be packaging back up and sending back for a refund as soon as I get back from my trip. I had to get a smaller one from HarborFreight in the meantime until I can find something that’s worth the money and will actually be able to be assembled and not possibly be used.

Not heavy duty but great customer service
This is a good occasional use rack. Easy to assemble and easy to clamp down on the roof rails. The paint on this does chip easily and rusts quickly. You get what you pay for. This is a very economical roof rack.Mine arrived damaged but the company’s customer service was top notch. They immediately responded and made the situation right.

Started rusting immediately and worsened after first trip.
I got the product knowing I would need it in a few months and built it right away. When I took it out of the box, it was free of rust and relatively easy to assemble. My only complaint on assembly & sturdiness is that the brackets that clamp it to your crossbars aren't kind to them. There's a (cheap) piece of plastic to protect the rack/basket from the clamp, but the U-bolt that goes around the underside of your crossbar is bare metal which can both damage it, as well as be less sturdy since a little flex from plastic/rubber in a clamping system is what keeps the nuts from loosening (i.e. how a locknut or lock washer works) by keeping the pressure on. I worked around that, but shouldn't have to.I completed the assembly and stowed it in my garage (up in the rafters) for the road trip in a couple of months. When I took it down, I saw that most of the welding points (where the outer frame meets upward curving cross bars) were already rusting as shown in my last picture. No rust otherwise. After my first road trip (which included snow, ice, rain, etc.) with it, there is now rust starting elsewhere away from the welded points. These places are not where I had tie-downs attached, and even if they were, the tie-downs were just woven straps and plastic clips. This corrosion is just from severe weather road conditions. These are primarily on the front which takes the brute of wind, but also on the sides. I imagine there was some salt on the roads, but "powder coating" should not give way to rust this quickly regardless. Also, as I took the rack/basket off my roof, rusty water poured out of several places, meaning it was trapped inside the tubing...rusting. I tried to dry it out and all, but honestly, I don't have a lot of hope for the longevity of this thing. The rust is spreading up under the coating, so unless I sand it all down and repaint...further damage and eventual failure are imminent, coming from both inside the tube and out.All in all, I guess I'm ok with this considering the price; it is at best par for the course; however, I'm not excited about it, nor would I recommend the product.

Hardware
It's a great item the middle center doesn't seem to have great water proofing if it get water damage I hope they are willing replace. Also the hardware to attach to my crossbar I didn't feel like it's not strong enough to hold it. I had to tighten so bad it felt like I was stretching's and bending the hardware to hold it down.

So far so good
Decently easy to put together. Not so heavy once it is out together. Easy for one adult and an 11 year old to install on top of the car.

Decent but expected better for the price
Decent quality of a product, but the coating is lacking big time. Unboxed it Friday, noticed 2 chipped paint/powder coating spots. Today is Sunday 2 days later, we have had rain 3 times since I installed it. And I already have a good bit of rust and rust staining. The 2 spots i saw obviously weren't the only unprotected areas. It is sturdy, I haven't loaded it down yet but I feel comfortable that it will hold up. Easy to assemble. Will probably take it off this week clean up the rust and powder coat or clear coat it.Update- I have reached out to the company, and left this review. As of October haven't heard anything from anyone. If you are good with possible rusting issues, it really isn't a bad rack. I have loaded it down and it is super sturdy. But the quality of coating sucks majorly. On that part I would not recommend!
