Wentworth Prison: The Complete Series [DVD]

This is a tremendous series that should have never been canceled on netflix. I purchased the entire d v d series because I will truly miss the show...Also purchased a region free d. V. D player from megatek and it works perfectly fine. I recommend that..Remember, you must buy d v d player that matches it in case you don't have one here in the united states such as me.Lots of extras in the d v d's, which is really nice..I spent over a $100 for the series, and 40 dollars for region-free dvd player with no regrets..

These DVDs arrived a week earlier than expected and play perfectly! In lieu of Netflix removing this wonderful program on October 26th, I was forced to purchase this series. It's full of characters you can relate to and feel almost like they're family. It's not the usual prison program but rather, one which depicts every day drama and problem solving. It is my comfort show. If these DVDs ever wear out, I would again order them from Amazon UK. I highly recommend buying from these sellers! They're awesome (for lack of a better word)!!

We are Wentworth fanatics on this house! The fear of it being taken off of Netflix is always looming, so I decided to buy the series on DVD. It is important to tell you that this is not available in a region-free disc option, so you will need to purchase a region free player (they are pretty inexpensive running as low as $35 on Amazon). A very binge worthy show!

This series keeps you on your toes. Just when you think its going in one direction it goes differently. Tough reality for anyone who is curious about what it's like in prison. This series will teach you not to find out for yourself. I loved how they left nothing unsaid or unfinished. You see what happens to each character you grow to love or hate. You also learn a great deal about true friendship.

once i found out this was leaving netflix i panicked. i’ve watched it easily 10 times through since i found it but the thought of never watching it again stressed me out. it’s one of my emotional support shows. well worth the price, even if i did have to buy a region free dvd player. people leaving bad reviews about it not playing on a us player clearly didn’t read this add very carefully. i got my dvd player hooked up and everything works great. and i feel safe again knowing i can rewatch this whenever i want. plus, a region free dvd player can come in handy for other shows i’ve wanted that don’t play in the us. win-win if you ask me.

Wentworth is one of the best shows you’ll ever watch! The writing and acting is second to none! OITNB doesn’t hold a candle to this Australian gem! The drama and angst mixed with some great comedic lines makes Wentworth the absolute best!! I was afraid Netflix would cancel it at some point and I couldn’t be without it thus the reason for my purchase. I’ve been blessed to have met at least nine of the main stars and they are without a doubt some of the best people you’ll ever meet! Watch this show - you will not be disappointed!

Was not sure about watching this remake of Prisoner, so glad I did, after watching the whole box set while on holiday, when I came home started again from the begining and enjoyed it just as much!

The best women's prison drama of this generation. It is a perfect blend of drama, horror and humour. It's been a.honour and a privilege to watch these amazing Australian (and Kiwi) actors entertain me for the last 9 years. If you don't already own the seasons, then this boxset is absolutely for you. Shame there isn't a blu-ray option, but a DVD one will do.At £100, it equates to £1 per episode, and to me that's worth it!
