Quick & economical solution
This little item is a handy and very inexpensive way to be able to add a lampshade to any lamp. I have a tall pole lamp that originally had an oversized unique cover for the top that got broken. I had no idea how to replace it and leaving a bare lightbulb just looked ugly. I then found this handy item and was able to easily add a standard lampshade. Now it is usable again with no bare bulb hanging out!

Essential clip for your lamp shades
The solution to the Lamp post that did not have a harp to put a lampshade on. Works real well. Please take notice tha there is a height involved. Was lucky fitted perfect with my new lampshade Medium Lamp Shade, ALUCSET Barrel Metal Lampshade with Pattern of Trees Lampshade). The Lamp shade sits on the 2 blocks shown in the picture, so if you want your shade clip lower you will have to search for another model. This model fits perfectly, Clips real easy on regular light bulb (I had a 3 way). Big 5*****
