Nice looking easy to use so handy having usb ports at the bedside

Great looking lamp, and fitted a smart lamp so all is good.USB-C output does not work for me... USB-A is fine and works as expected.

I wanted to upgrade my old squat bedside lamps but didn’t want a touch lamp style as so many seem to be these days. I found this design (sold as a pair) which although perhaps a little more expensive then I had intended to pay, were in a style that fit with my bedroom decor.I really like that each lamp has 2 USB outlets in the base (this is what swayed my decision to buy them as I’ve always got something tech-wise that needs charging overnight) as well as a pull cord and a rocker on/off switch. The pull cord means that you don’t have to fumble about trying to find the rocker switch down the side of your bed!Bulbs are not included and are the larger screw in type (E27 Edison screw). I actually bought a couple of dimmable Hive bulbs to go in them so that we can operate them via Hive and Alexa, and these work really well in the lamp.I’m really pleased with these lamps which look great and should last for a long time.

Having received the lamps I expected much better considering the price of them. The base in the description says that it is made of wood but it is synthetic wood, around the seal of the shade is the perforated edge that is a little frayed also the perforation is visible. I loved the idea that it had USB ports but they are visible as it sticks out & made from a cheap plastic. The idea of having the pull cord to turn the light on or off is a great addition as it looks lovely & makes it easier than looking for the switch on the cable. I contacted the company to check if I had received the correct items with it looking so cheap, whilst the contact was pleasant it ended with them basically saying if you don’t like it send it back. This is an obvious resolution, I was not asking what to do I was giving the company a chance to resolve the issue, I am not meaning a refund but I don’t know what the stock, the person could have advised an alternative product that they would suggest. I am not unreasonable I just believe that an opportunity to bring back the customer Leaving feeling happy & looking forward to the new item. A great deal of people are too happy to just say return & refund, if there was an alternative item this could have been suggested potentially getting more revenue but most of all not loosing the customer & their money in one sweep move.The advisor Lisa was pleasant.
