Thin, but works as expected. Sticks immediately to metal and glass. Great cost, good amount for price. Black, can get a little wrinkled if tossed around a bit. Once you take off the backing, don't try and place it back, it will leave residue from the paper on the tape.

The black aluminum foil tape worked out great. I'm remodeling the downstairs of a friend's house and they have a pellet stove the pipe was semi shiny metal and kind of stuck out . So I used high temp black spray paint on it. Then used the black foil tape to go around the seams of the pipe. It stuck really well and sealed up the seams great too. Also it's pretty thick not flimsy at all. I've used the stove regularly due to the cold snap that came through. It's holding up great and didn't let off any smell when the pipe got hot. The color blended in really well with the paint and didn't stick out like the silver version would have. I definitely would recommend this tape.

Easy to use BLACK aluminum tape for the black sound deadening seams. Just like the silver type, simply peel off the backing as you lay it on the seams, use your roller to smooth it and you get a nice looking finished job. It's not quite as dark black as the Siless I used but it's close enough.

fantastic for sealing up sound deadener in a vehicle cab or similar, plus the black tape looks so much cleaner than the silver. other than that its essentially the same stuff.

worked for a while, but then completely failed to seal the heat from my pipes then again my pipes temperatures are probably exceeding what it can do, overall its a good product.
