Quality watch perfect fit

The watch is exactly as described and it's beautiful.

You get a lot of watch for the money with this one. The heritage looks of an unattainable for mere mortals Paul Newman Daytona, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, quality Seiko mechaquartz movement all for a little over $100. It also comes with a polishing cloth and a small screwdriver to resize the bracelet. The only downsides are the bracelet which doesn't have the smoother feel of a more expensive watch and the dark chapter ring makes it a bit challenging in certain light to see the hour markers. But the positives outweigh these few small negatives. If your looking for a Daytona homage, this is a really good one to get.

Excellent homage to a classic - Great bracelet (okay, very odd micro adjustment that I still haven't worked out, but great design and positive actuation). I have a good number of Daytona inspired pieces - The black face (which I purchased) is in my opinion, the most stylish, but definitely the least practical (as the hands are a bit difficult to make out, as opposed to lighter faced designs). Still, a very classy timepiece that I'm sure will get plenty of wrist time.

I like simple watch faces like this Pagani Design watch has, mine in silver blue. I prefer simple watches to those that look like a scuba diver's, and this one doesn't have the stopwatches and other stuff I just have never used on a watch in my life. I pretty much know the day and date, too, so that's not required, either.As to the actual watch, it looks very nice. I like the silver blue sheen on the watch face, which makes it very easy to see the time, and the watchband works well. I had to remove a couple of links to get the right fit, but it was easily done with the included small screwdriver. Fortunately, the band was easy to figure out, since I didn't see anything about it in the microscopic instructions that came with the watch.The watch came packaged in a nice giftable box presentation, but I think you'd be most likely to buy a watch for yourself these days, given how it's hard to predict individual tastes. (Except maybe for a smartwatch, but that's a different topic.) Still, it was an indication of quality to have it come in a nice package; I've had more expensive watches that didn't offer much along those lines.Overall, this watch, at this price point, seems to be a good deal, especially given my preference for a simple watch design. I expect it to last, and I imagine I'll be wearing it most of the time. Nice item.

Notes:1) It looks a lot like an old Seiko I own, except it’s brushed stainless steel instead of polished gold plate. For the price, it looks very nice.2) The band is initially too long but that’s normal. Any reputable watch repair shop will quickly fit it to your wrist for a small fee. There’s a small screwdriver included to do it for yourself but I recommend you have that job done by a professional.3) It was running when I received it. I’ve had it set to the correct time for about 4 hours and its accurate within a second so far.4) Oddly, the second hand ticks twice per second but I cannot hear the tick.5) There is no date function. That’s the only bad point. The ad photos are accurate.
