Q: I just opened the package and there is only one sock. Is it really sold as a single sock?

Yes there is only one. They are not really socks in that sense of the word because they are used to treat a medical condition such as Plantar Fasciitis etc.

Q: There is no size chart with the product for womens 9.5 what size do I need?

It is a "Fits All" size. It works for my wife with a size 8 or myself at a size 12.. And it works. A great product.
