Tight fit in my ipower 3x3 love the long wires to feed the light and power supply, heat is about the same as my viper p2000 different air flow with bar style light than the big board style still trying to dial in my VPD now can’t wait to see plant flourish , I resurched this light it has the best power per watt to led par output 30% better coverage , all the others show to much parr in the middle and weak corners , my other viper light is 200 watts p2000 and works wonderfully I got like 9 ounce out of 2 plants with 200 watts viper spectra is the best value hand down, I waited and watched the price of this light go up and down for a year then it dropped below 200 to 189 so I jumped on it very nice light big beautiful power supply with long cord love this light company very good stuff

Viparspectra really knocked it out of the park on this one. The light is very well built, time will tell on its longevity. Used it for one run so far and it yields great. My light meter had it slightly higher than its rated brightness, and the coverage is excellent from all areas under the lights. Excellent light penetration. It runs circles around other budget lights, and gives premium brands a run for their money, possibly surpassing them. I’ve been using viparspectra lights since the advent of the blurple lights, and this thing is another hit. Hope to use it for years to come.

I have purchased 2 of the KS3000 light fixtures and I am thoroughly pleased with the performance and quality of these lights. The dimming ability is very nice so you can use the proper amount of light needed during the growth of plants. I was really pleased with how the company stands behind their products. One of the units I have starting having strobing issues with the driver after a little over a year from purchase. After some troubleshooting help with their tech staff, it was determined to be a slight defect with that driver. The company sent a replacement driver to me without pro-rating and charging me for the time I have used the product. They are an outstanding company, I will certainly purchase more of their products and tell my friends as well. They are certainly a top notch company.

(Purchased 2022)Great light, wonderful price! Even light coverage. I use it for moms and clones in my 3x3 tent. That said I have also germinated multiple seeds from cannabis to peppers and tomatoes. I have also used it to grow from seed to flower and I have to say it does a great job for cannabis in flower compares right there with my nextlight mega pro led I use in my 5x5 for flowering. ✌🏻💚MOFOS

This isn't the absolute brightest light you can get, but at this price you are not going to beat this. Plenty of light for all phases and the panel style has really good light uniformity across a 4x4 space. With that said, this is not going to replace a 1000 watt HPS. You are pulling 500 watts from the wall with this light, and you'll get around half the PAR that a good quality HPS can do; However, you will get the same PAR at the corners as an HPS due to the better uniformity of the panel design, which is becoming standard in LED lights. You also will not have the heat management you would with an HPS. I would call this a very solid starter or budget light. You will get very good results using it. If you're looking to get the same light output as an HPS, be prepared to spend around 3 - 5 times this much but make sure you are running everything that can take advantage of that kind of light (C02, etc...). For me, I have a larger tent with a couple higher end lights and I just didn't want to break the bank to fill out the space. I have good overlapping light from the space and this light does everything I need it to do.

Highly effective! This light is fantastic. My previous light came with my 3x3 tent (vivosun) which is the folding gimmicky light that has adjustable side panels that completely suck. This light is a solid choice for anyone using a 3x3 tent or a 5x5 (KS5000) Very bright, and I have no burn issues whatsoever. I like that the driver is detachable and can be stored outside of the tent which keeps the temps down. There’s a lot of nice lights out there and I put this light in the elite category. MarsHydro makes a nice light that is very similar, but this light just feels like quality and if you decide on one, you’ll see what I mean.

Great light, has nice increments for light strength. I am growing the best tomatoes on the block with this light.

This is my second light as I am upgrading my 4x4 to a 5x10ft tent. These lights are awesome for home grow tents. They fit the bill and going home from a commercial grow with CO2 to my homegrow tents without CO2, these are perfect and fill the tent from corner to corner on a 4 x 4, but they will flower a 5 x 5 as I flower them on 75% power max and get a nice yield with 4x4 and 100% is overkill without co2 or a higher ceiling, 5x5 area/tent. These are awesome for the price.

Light is great, easy to set up, very capable of filling a 4x4 tent, now on my 5th crop and it has worked perfect, zero problems, would recommend this light for anybody setting up a 4x4 tent follow Vipar`s instructions and you`re on your way 25% seedlings, 50% early veg ,75% veg, 100% flower, best yet

So far I’m loving the lights, I have been using them during blooming for my plants and they love it! The lights feel very well built and the pulley system is super easy to work with. The lights do give off a bit of heat but more so the feeling of heat from sunlight and not radiating heat, as the driver can be placed outside the grow room. They also had amazing customer service and that’s so rare nowadays! I bought these lights at a higher price before the price decreased a few days later and they honoured the lower price, no hassle. Overall very happy with the lights and amazed by their customer service!

This light is fantastic. Grown in a 1mx1m tent this thing is all the light I need. I switched from 2 mars hydro to 1000s. The coverage is like night and day. I highly recommend this light or the ks5000 for a 4x4. I'm really impressed thanks viparspectra!

I have had several lights over the years. But this one tops the cake! My Autos have been under it for 2 days now and I’ve noticed a huge difference already for the better! Fits nicely in a 4x4 with good coverage. Don’t pass this light up especially if there’s a sale! You will not be disappointed!

So far this is the most expensive light I have purchased. I wanted one light for a 4 x 4 space instead of a few small ones. This one is amazing. I set it up by myself, though two would have been better. Cables were more than long enough for just about any setup. The unit has some weight to it and feels very solid. The dimmer is makes firm clicks when changing light settings and you can tell when you change the light settings. This is a very bright light. I will be saving my pennies to purchase one for each of my 4 x 4 tables. I have not had it long enough to test a growth out yet, but I am preparing pepper plants and will be changing this review if things go badly. It came shipped in a thick cardboard box. During shipping, it looked like someone put their boot to the center of the box. I was worried while unboxing that there was damage. The box had protection on all sides inside the box, and where the damage was, there was more protection for the controller unit and the light. No damage made it to the light or any other parts in the box. I most definitely will be buying more of these lights.
