Generally horrible phone. GPS does not work properly
This is easily the worst smartphone I've ever had. The GPS hardly works at all. You usually have to restart the phone to get the GPS to work, and even then it usually only works for about 5 minutes, then the GPS stops working and you have to restart the phone AGAIN before you can continue using the GPS. Rinse and repeat, over and over and over again... and it takes several minutes to restart each time. And I only had the phone for a few months before it started acting like this. That makes this the shortest-lived phone I've ever had. There are many other problems with this phone, but I'll just stop there. This phone is slow, buggy, and full of bloatware that can't be uninstalled and invasive "features" that can't be disabled. In summary, I would recommend literally any other phone over this one.

Inexpensive brand name - Dexcom compatible
My daughter is a diabetic and uses a Dexcom CGM. Dexcom being a medical device only supports a very limited number of rather expensive phones. Samsung A03 to the rescue. We recently upgraded her to a Dexcom G7 and her Pixel was no longer supported. She's nine and needs the phone to help us keep close tabs on her blood sugar. So as a family we needed an inexpensive, lightweight and reliable phone. So far this has fit the bill nicely. It's an entry level phone so there are a few compromises. None are deal breaks for us, but they are worth mentioning. Battery is rated at 5000 mAh which seems pretty good for this price point. For a child who likes to watch videos we still need to keep an eye on it. While we treat the device as a "medical device" as a parent we understand our daughter is a child and likes to watch videos so this is a consideration. The screen in practice is rather dim, and pretty low resolution. These are trade offs for price. However, they work in favor of helping the battery life, which all things considered is the most important factor for our use case. One issue is that it uses usb-mini instead of usb-c. This compounds the battery charging issue because almost all our other devices are usb-c so we need to always have one of the older (and less reliable cords around.Another consideration is this is the Latin America version so the phone boots up in Spanish, was able to get it into English mode, easily enough, but the real consideration is that Samsung uses slower chipsets in non-USA markets. On a positive note, after a couple of days we got the pop up for an Android 12 update from our provider, so its nice that this is receiving updates (as of 3/27/23), as of 4/1/23 it updated to Android 13 - very happy with that. It really does seem to be a nice budget freindly phone.UPDATE: The phone itself has been doing well; however, we constantly need to restart it in order for it to stay connected to the Dexcom G7 sensor. Not a big deal for npn Dexcom users; but its been big issue as a parent of a diabetic little girl. The Follow app is our lifeline, and when its not working its very stressful to us. The phone is great, Dexcom just needs to support it better.

Sending it back. It didn’t work with Boost Mobile, spent 3 hours trying. Please read as many reviews as you can before you purchase.

Can only register SIM on Verizon network
I have a Hong Kong carrier SIM card. On this phone, It could only register on Verizon network in the US, not T-mobile nor ATT. My SIM card’s local network operator is T-mobile. Although in description it says this phone is unlocked for all carriers, but in my case it is not true.

Wrong phone
I bought this for my father in law, and it’s taken months for him to try to get the thing working. He’s called the cell company, taken it to a few different places, and even called the Samsung company, and finally realized it’s the wrong phone, it’s a lower cheaper model. This was a scam, and because of how long it’s taken for him to do all this, we can’t return it.
