I was hesitant to buy since I am used to O'Neil quality wet suits for my girls but I couldn't beat the price. Based on the reviews I ordered the 5-6 size for my 4 year old (who is slender and fits a size 4/5 clothing) and it fits her absolutely perfeft. I also went off of the measurements from the sizing chart. I can't wait for them to use this in the Pacific next month during our vacation l. It seems to be made just as well as the O'Neil brand we own.

Smells really, really bad -- noxious chemical off gassing
I would highly recommend a different brand. This suit smells significantly worse than other wetsuits I have bought (NeoSport brand, for example, doesn't smell terrible when new. I got a shorty from that brand the same day and it was fine.)... this suit was BAD. I washed it a total of 5 times (including twice in vinegar & water) and put it outside for 5-6 days.... it still smells really bad. Find a different wetsuit and save your child the chemical exposure. Definitely not worth the price.

This suit works great for my 4-year old daughter and she loves wearing it. In Minnesota the lake water is cold for the first half of summer and this wetsuit keeps her body warm as she swims and plays in the water. It is very difficult to get on and off, but all wetsuits are. I do need to help her pull it down and back up again when she needs a bathroom break, but that's to be expected with any wetsuit. I love that this protects her skin from the sun, shells, rocks, etc. and she feels comfortable in the water with it. It does not include a flotation device and isn't intended to add buoyancy. We love the gender-neutral blue color of this one and it was great to find something that wasn't pink/purple and also wasn't obviously "boy" with trucks or sharks on it. Seems like everything lately is clearly designed for one gender or the other, and this is a great suit that can be used for boys or girls.

Sizing could be a problem but quality is very nice
9/10 fits our 8 year thin build gal but it is not an easy suit to put on. If she had been the least bit more normal weight not sure the 9/10 would fit. Arm and leg length again not much room for an 8 year old. Our child is in the 50 / 50 percentile.Quality looks super nice. Have not tested it yet. Design is quite cute.

Great wetsuit
Perfect wetsuit for my slim 8 year old (we bought size 9-10). Keeps her warm during swim class and fits her perfectly. There was a strong smell (usual neoprene smell) when we received it, but after a couple washings, it disappeared. The suit is 90% neoprene, 10% nylon. We've had it a couple months now and it's holding up well so far.

Great water for play in the winter!
These were wonderful for my girls in San Diego waters in February. Kept them warm enough to splash aroind and body board for a few hours in the shallow water. True to size to slightly small for my girls.

Great quality
I like the quality material. As long as your kiddo is dry before putting it on it is super easy to put on. A little challenging with a kiddo when they have to pee to put it back on. I definitely think the quality material and make of the piece is worth it. I would buy this again.

Great item!
This suit is nice! It fits my almost 3 year old great! Not too snug, but snug enough to do its job! It's a wetsuit, it is supposed to be snug! My child is around 27 pounds and around 36 inches tall, and we purchased the 3/4 size.

Great for backyard play!
I bought this for cold lake water but we use it all the time in the backyard! My daughter is 2 and 9 months old, the size 3-4 years old fits her with some room to spare. Normally we play in the backyard with her wearing a swimsuit, she wants to be sprayed with cold hose water or dumps cold water on herself, so she quickly gets cold and we have to come inside. With this wetsuit we stay outside for twice as long, the cold water doesn’t bother her because the wetsuit keeps her warm! Plus her diaper stays dry the entire time we’re playing with water. It doesn’t matter if it’s a windy day either (usually a cool wind would send us inside faster too). I really recommend this wetsuit, it’s not just useful for swimming, we use it all the time outside! There was a slight chemical smell but it didn’t bother me, I saw other reviews saying it’s an issue but it wasn’t for us.

Fits small
The quality of the suit is excellent. It fits nicely but it does run small. I got the 3t/4t for my average size 3 1/2 year old (he's about 40lbs, on the slim side). It fit him snuggly when we got it a month ago, but I knew it wouldn't last that long. I washed it once in cold water and hung to dry, now I cant get it up his body. Wet or dry. I would size up. We will be keeping it anyway for my other son. But it kept him nice and warm. Overall I would buy again but size up for sure.

Zipper broke first use
This is terrible quality. I tried it on my 2 year old brand new and the zipper split just from him walking around. He was not too big the zipper is just very cheap. It split down the middle and got stuck at the back of his neck. After 20 minutes of trying to get a wetsuit off a flailing toddler I had to actually CUT this off of him with fabric scissors. Complete WASTE of 40 bucks. Do not buy.

Great quality
I was hesitant to buy these as they were quite a bit cheaper than brand name wet suits but I was pleasantly surprised. We live in Canada and our lakes are cold, but these worked great! I ordered two size 7/8, one for my skinny 10 year old and another for my regular sized 7 year old and they both fit them perfectly.

Sizing info
For the price this is a great suit. It is not a perfect fit but it will do the job good enough. My daughter is 5 years old, thin and tall and I bought her the size 7/8. The length and inseam just fits her, the legs fit good but it is a bit big in the tummy and arms.
