The last two albums on which Savoy Brown's best vocalist, Chris Youlden, was the lead singer. You are here, SO BUY THEM ALREADY!
Rocking boogie blues. Chris Youlden has one of the best British blues voice ever. EVER. Most people buying these already had or have them on vinyl but if you're new to S.B. and like rocking boogie blues, I highly recommend this, and "Looking In", Raw Sienna","Street Corner Talking" and "Hellbound Train". The reason for four stars, is both have live sides that are not as polished as some might wish, B.M. Youlden was sick so Dave Pervette handles the vocals fine, but it's not Youlden. A.S.F. is very loose.But I think part of it is, I prefer all live or all studio especially in the old format. As much as I like Peter Green and old Fleetwood Mac, I love these. Anybody see the Mac, Brown and L.J.Baldry tour ? Those were the days four hours of live music for $3 or $6 front row !

A great 'Blues and Boogie" band.
Combines thier greatest two albums! They were the best, the best! Savoy Brown got radio play from 'Train to Nowhere', 'She's Got A Ring in His Nose and a Ring on Her Hand", and I'm Tired'. Just listen to the clips.

this music is as great today as it was in 1968!!!!!!!!!! it ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! it is some of the best blues rock eaver recorded!!!!!!!!!!!!
