Requires extreme heat to adhere to the print bed
Final Print settings:240C Nozzle/70C Bed first layer225C Nozzle/65C Bed Print tempHad trouble getting this filament to stick at first and reached out to the seller who offered a replacement in case the roll I got was defective in some way. While waiting for the repalcement, I continued playing with it. after losing about 1/4 of the roll to spaghetti mess, I ended up heating it up to the point that it pops and leaves holes in the the first layer, which requires the use of a raft, but it would *finally* adhere reliably. With THAT out of the way, this filament prints *very* well. nice, clean lines, no breakage, No coming back to my printer obliviously zooming along and printing nothing.Once I start on the replacement roll (I'll use up the original roll first), I'll update my review.

Great Filament
I got a request from my 5 year old Granddaughter. Seems she really wants a toy Alligator or Crocodile for her birthday. I found a great funny looking articulated crocodile and needed some cool green Silk filament to print it from. I just started printing with this Overature Silk PLA filament and it's working beautifully. 210 degrees on the nozzle and 70 on the bed and it's sticking to my PEI plate beautifully (with some MagiGoo)), not a bit of stringing and it looks great. This Croc is taking up my whole print bed so I've got another 13 hours of printing.....but it's going to look just as beautiful as a Crocodile can look. Very happy with the filament.

Consistent Quality and Great Color
Purchased single spools of Space Grey prior and ended up purchasing a double-spool since it was cheaper. However, the double-spool had mixed quality spools even though both were vacuum sealed. Printed using a Bambu Lab printer and the first spool printed using the same profile as the prior spools. However, had adhesion/extrusion issues with the second spool. After some calibration testing, discovered there was a major difference with the pressure advance and flow rate. Once adjusted, it printed fine afterwards.

Decent PLA but has gone up in price
I have used this PLA since I first got my Ender 3 and have had bed adhesion issues. I personally do not care too much, I just use a glue stick. Otherwise, the print quality is solid. I have printed quite a few machine parts with it, and they work fine. I have had a few fails, but nothing that tweaking the slicer settings did not fix, most of the failures occur when the first layer would not stick to the printer bed. I thought the price point was amazing, 15-16 per roll. It is now 20-21 per roll, which had me looking for alternatives. Sadly the cheaper alternatives had terrible print quality, so I am switching back to Overture.A lot of people dislike the cardboard spools, but thats one of my favorite things about the packaging. I am not a fan of wasting tens of plastic spools.Overall, as long as their price does not increase more, I will continue buying my PLA from them.

Bed Adhesion is a bit tricky, and fume headaches.
I am brand new to 3D printing, so my issues may be a result of inexperience, however I have noticed that bed adhesion, even when using the magnetic plate, or the glass plate I purchased for my Ender 3 Pro can be tricky at times. It does usually right itself with no further issues once it finally does get that initial stick, but again this could be entirely attributed to my experience despite trying my best to do it right. I have releveled many times to make sure everything is good to go.Now this is the interesting part. When exposed to the fumes for 5 minutes or so, I find that I will start to get a very strange headache that usually will relieve itself quickly if I am away from the fumes. If exposed for too long it does linger a bit. I am unsure whether this is a a byproduct of THIS particular brand, or just a sensitivity to PLA fumes in general. I only own two rolls of PLA, and they are both by this brand so I have not had the experience to see if this comes up with other brands as well. I do not recall the included starter filament with the Ender 3 Pro giving me this issue, but that was the first time I ever used a 3D printer so I may not have notice the correlation that early.Prints turn out great though, if you aren't sensitive to PLA/light chemical fumes, and are willing to start and stop the print once or twice to make sure the initial layer sticks, you should be good to go!
