An Introduction to Japanese Calligraphy

I am a beginning student of Japanese calligraphy and this book is very informative from the very basic information to becoming a great calligrapher. The book is also beautiful with many photos that are helpful in understanding the tools and the qualities of calligraphy. Placing this interesting and unusual art form in its historical context makes me appreciate it even more!
