Solid dance shoes for the price.
Fit as expected. I’m 7 1/2 to 8 size, bought first pair at 7 1/2- fit well with little break in needed, (dancers know bandaids are your friend for new shoes). I have since bought two more pairs. Reading through the negative reviews I see two issues with the reviews…customer user error.1. These are dance shoes, with suede bottoms. They are meant for a smooth dance floor not the subway or city streets, you carry them to the dance while wearing street shoes. These soles and heels are soft and not designed for street or even sidewalks.2. Reviews of bad fit…reviewers photos showed wearing the straps around the ankle, not the base of the shoe arch as shipped. They are dance shoes and meant to support the arch and foot, not the ankle.3. These shoes will not teach you to dance, but at the price, I’ll keep practicing!

Cute Shoes
I have a disclaimer for these shoes- We ordered them out of desperation for a wedding that had nothing to do with Latin Dancing and we ordered them with no knowledge of how Latin dance shoes are made or how to treat them so some of my comments may be a total "duh" statement for someone else who knows about them but... These shoes do NOT have normal soles. They have a leather looking sole. They are very comfortable. However, after wearing them for about 3 hours, the bottom of the high heal came off of one of the shoes making it uncomfortable. If my daughter could have found the heal piece to put back on, she would have but after a search, she couldn't find it. These shoes also run SMALL! I originally bought 2 pair, a size 6.5 and a 7.5 for two of my daughters. The one who wears a normal 6.5 fit the 7.5 and the one who fits a 7.5 had to borrow shoes from someone else.

Comfortable shoes
I bought these based on reviews for walking around a convention and for wearing to an awards dinner. I don't walk well in heels, and these were very easy for me to walk in with their low heel. I walked in them for about 3 hours and my feet felt pretty good! They didn't rub or irritate my feet and they were not slippery (which is important to me). You know drinking and heels don't mix:), but these were great! Plus these shoes looked great! I normally wear a size 6.5, and they were a bit small, so I ordered again in size 7 and the fit it good. The shoe is narrow as well, but it really fits my foot.

Perfect for Beginners
This shoe is excellent for beginners: low price in case you end up not using the shoes a lot yet still gets the job done. The shoe is very beautiful and true to size. Some comments:- absolutely no arch support which you do feel begin to hurt as you dance- toe box is too wide, my feet are average width and they slide through onto the floor because the wide toe box, not to mention the box will only stretch more with time. This was my biggest concern

How the hell do you get these shoes on and off?
First I will say that these are cute shoes and the heal is nice. The heal is nice and they do glide on the dance floor well. When I searched for wide width dance shoes these came up but were clearly marked as Medium width when I bought them. They are understandably a bit tight on my wide feet. The biggest issue I have is getting them fastened and unfastened. I still haven't quite figured it out. It is very awkward. I will say that for $25.00 they will do. I won't buy from this company again due to the buckling issue.
