Works great
These stern pads will work with the 3m glue marine backing. No screw holes in your boat. You simply screw the transducer into pad. It won’t come off.

After 2 years - still works perfectly
I had just repowered the boat and had all the leaking mount holes filled with fiberglass and re-gelcoated.Last thing I wanted to do was drill new holes in the transom. This thing is legit. Works great...for a long time. No holes!

An Elegant Mounting Solution That Eliminates Drill Holes in Your Hull
Do NOT drill waterline holes in your boat hull! This kit, using a very powerful 3M adhesive, eliminates the need for drill holes and prevents leaks. Follow the simple location and surface preparation instructions and this mount will stay attached forever.Somewhat expensive for such a simple device, but in the end, money well spent.

Not good, if you have a jet
Here's my mixed reviews. I installed this on my polyethylene boat. The pad installed super easy and the adhesion was really strong. When pulled on the pad, it moved the whole boat. After installing the transducer, the transducer felt very well mounted. Everything looked great.I take my boat in really shollow rivers, and in my first outing I went through a really shollow spot. The transducer hit the bottom and broke off from the pad. The pad was not sturdy enough to take hit. I wish the pad we're make out of a denser material. Since I go into such shallow areas, I might need to come up with another way to mount the transducer. If someone is planning on boating in locations where there is not threat of hitting bottom, I think this would be the perfect solution. An additional note, if you want to remove the pad, I just stayed the pad with wd40, and slowely worked the liquid into the seal with a razor. The pad eventually came off cleanly.
