I bought this without checking it works with 110v and not UK’s 220v, which I realized by reading some comments here after I ordered. Transformers could solve the problem but they are too heavy and too expensive.I wanted to return it but I was told that it was already dispatched and cannot be returned!It is not seller’s fault as a careful buyer can find it is no use here in the UK. However, it will discourage me to buy this type of products as well as creating more disappointed Amazon costumers, unless YOU CLEARLY STATE “IT IS NOT FOR UK USE” in the first page.

I don't know why this is being sold in the UK. It's got a USA plug and is just as expensive as the much larger and better Toshiba models that are sold in China as well as Europe so this company are ripping people off anyway. Don't buy a rice cooker on Amazon, look on Asian supermarket websites as they'll all deliver too, and these are rice cookers that people who eat rice almost every day are using - not these rubbish ones created for westerners who know no better about making rice.
