Oceans: A Journey from the Surface to the Seafloor (3-D Explorer)

We have purchased several books in this line, including the Safari Animals. Our son particularly loves this Oceans book with its foldout pieces and vibrant colors. Parents should not expect this to be a story book, although it does have some information pages. It is purely a look, touch and discuss book, and it excels at that. One drawback is that the foldouts tear over time. Also we had the unfortunate luck of obtaining a book with some pages where the pieces did not match the descriptions.

The Book is great with Beautiful pictures and the is made of very hard papers that can take lots of impact.My daughter loves it so much.

This book has been great for my ocean animal lessons with my kindergarten class.

If you have a kid interested in the ocean, BUY THIS BOOK! Zones of the ocean, the ocean floor, habitats, plant life, animal life are all covered beautifully in this 3D book. The text is not geared for beginning readers, but young children will be drawn to the colorful popup pages which are well done enough to fascinate older kids as well.
