Barbara's Organic Snackimals Cinnamon Crunch Cereal, Non-GMO, Whole Grains, 9 Oz Box

My boys love this cereal with milk or as a snack. With their different allergies, this is something they can both eat and I can feel good about giving them. No GMOs to worry about especially since they are eating it everyday! They love the fun animal shapes and great taste! They like the vanilla one too.

Kids loved these. I thought is smelled and tasted like lucky charms. They definitely enjoyed the taste and shapes (4&6years). I'm glad that the sugar was less than other brands.

It's not what I thought it would be like. I thought it was going to be cookies not cereal. I read it wrong.

I am a big fan of the Barbara's Bakery Brand. It is one of the choices of organic cereal that has been available in my local stores for many years. I had tried a number of them before I discovered that I could get better prices from Amazon - especially through Subscribe & Save. However, I had not tried the Cinnamon flavor of Snackimals. At the time of my order, the price couldn't be beat. Thus, I decided to try it as a snack cereal.I can't put my finger on what it is, but the taste is just off. It's not "throw the rest out" bad, but I don't think I will order it again. If you are looking at this for your kids, I have a hard time imagining that they would take to it. I would recommend the "Shredded Spoonfuls" (which is their analog to original Life) as an alternative. Your mileage may vary, and it could just be that this particular cereal is an acquired taste.

They taste stale,not crunchy, just hard.

Great snacking cereal. My 4 year old and 1 year old love it (me too!) either in milk or alone as a snack. Importantly for our family, it is also non-GMO verified and healthy.

I tried this cereal and enjoyed it quite a bit. It's crunchy and holds up well in milk (I actually use almond milk). Even my last bite still had some crunch to it. I try to avoid excessive sugar in cereals. Although this does have added sugar, it's 7g of sugar per serving which is well below many cereals that can have in excess of 12-14g of sugar or more per serving. The grain i and cane sugar ngredients are organic and non-GMO. I like the vanilla flavor... not too overwhelming but it does leave a vanilla aftertaste in my mouth. I'd buy this again. It reminds me somewhat of corn puffs with a vanilla taste.
