Comfortable and durable, absolute winners
I bought this boots for a trip across Scandinavia that was going to include a lot of hiking. I was a little nervous because I didn’t have time to break them in, but it was the only shoes I could pack because I didn’t have a lot of space in my bag. I am very happy that I went with a reliable brand that does not disappoint. These boots are high-quality with very sturdy stitching and hardware attachment. I wore them every single day on the trip and although they were a little stiff on the first day, they got very comfortable around the third, and I had no problems with them . Since it was my only pair of shoes, I also wore them for visiting the city and they actually wear pretty stylish and cool in the pictures. Since this was a summer trip and had very good weather I did not have to worry about snow or rain, but the thread is very strong and I have no doubt that they will perform amazing in our weather.

Best hiking boots ive ever had.
I am impressed! This is, apparently, the first time in 43 years I've worn a hiking boot that fits and functions. I have been camping for as long as I can remember, and Appalachia is my current back yard. I have run through many, many hand me down boots, cheap hiking boots, duck boots, snow boots, sneakers, skate shoes, flip flops, and socks roaming the Smokey Mountains; and I thought some of them were pretty okay. Today, I took these out of the box and hunted ginseng for 4 hours. I went from gravel path to open forest to dense old growth with rocks and fallen logs to STEEP, dirt to steep creekside to steep logging roads...I walked game trails and made my own path and climbed over logs and boulders and crossed a couple of spongy, wet creek beds and moss covered rocks. I have zero blisters. My feet feel great. I didnt slip or slide down the side of an ancient mountain. None of the briars or thorns did any damage. My feet didnt get super sweaty or wet or gross. I know now that I was sizing boots incorrectly (I thought they should be very tight and was ordering way too small). I actually measured my foot and ordered the corresponding size on the chart. This is the most comfortable I've EVER been after hours of off trail hiking in the mountains, especially with brand new boots.

AWESOME hiking boots!
I love these hiking boots. They’re super comfy and light so you don’t feel like Bigfoot tromping around. I’m an 8.5 and I threw caution to the wind and ordered an 8.5 ( I like to live on the edge). They’re perfect. Can wear with regular socks but also plenty of room for thick socks but not so much that your foot slips around and gets blisters. When I first put them on I thought they were tight on the toes but a little walking around the ol’ apartment and they were awesome. Rocked these bad boys around a mountain town and up hiking with nothing but joyful feet. Feels like the perfect amount of ankle support. Warm but not sweaty (no thank you smelly swamp feet)! Plus you get to feel superior to people hiking in running shoes. HUGE bonus.

Comfortable, good ankle support, wide foot approved
Got these just in time for a ski weekend (sadly too much snow for any hiking) and loved them so much never wanted to take them off! Can’t wait to wear them on hikes once the snow thaws! Have a pretty wide foot and was hesitant cause saw reviews they were narrow- just went a 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly. Kept my feet warm and waterproof in the snow. Love the red laces and great quality for the price. This is my first Amazon review cause I love them so much!

Still holds up a year later!
I bought these shoes in 2018 and took them to the Rockies. I didn't have time to break them in before my trip but the boots are so comfortable I was able to hike 10 miles round trip without any blisters or discomfort! Maybe I got lucky but the boots fit extremely well from the get go. And then this past weekend I wore them to a state park that was extremely muddy, and I was unfortunate enough to get caught in a thunderstorm while camping. I trekked a couple miles in muddy conditions and the boots handled very well and stayed snug on my feet despite walking on what felt like quicksand. My friend's tennis shoes were completely soaked by the end of the hike while my feet were dry and protected. He'll be buying a pair of Columbia hiking boots after our little venture. PS after I got home I was able to hose off the mud and the boots still look good as new :D I can't rave enough about this boots.... AND I've used them in the winter while shoveling snow, they have great traction on snow and kept my toes nice and warm.

Perfect fit
I love these. They are sized just right. They are warm and comfortable right out of the box. Also very lightweight. Only negative is that the price went up $20 since I got them 2 months ago? Why? That is crazy. And the colors were all more expensive than the basic color with red laces that I got. Why? It seems strange that the price would climb that quickly in such a short span of time. I'm glad I bought them when I did.

Columbia is a well known and trusted brand here in Oregon. Love my boots.
I love these shoes. Strong, sturdy and will last a very long time. Plus, a trusted brand. The newscasters here wear Columbia outerwear.

Excellent light hiking boots
Wore these all over Ireland for 3 weeks of major hikes, and encountered mud, rain, loose rock, and sand and they were excellent. Very comfortable, light, didn't exhaust my feet, didn't rub, and stayed dry as a bone. Highly rec. I ordered a half size up to accommodate wool socks and they were perfect. I also broke them in with a few walks before my trip, as you should with any new shoe.

I have nothing but good things to say about these boots. I bought 6 different boots online from various stores and different brands and tried them all on at home. These fit the best, looked the best, and seemed the comfiest. I took them on a 10 day trip to Iceland and they were perfect! No need to break them in - super comfortable, they looked so cute, they were light enough that I didn’t feel clunky, and they held up well. Also very waterproof! The only thing is, I’m not sure how breathable they are, because after a long day of wearing them, my feet did feel very warm and a little smelly, but nothing a quick foot spray into the boot didn’t fix. There were no lingering odours the next day.

Excellence in comfort and wear! Really glad I bought them to wear in NZ but I did waterproof them before I went! Great in the snow.

These boots are such good quality and look amazing! They fit my exact size so don’t go up or down a size. Excited to finally have comfortable, water resistant shoes for camping.
