More than a year later and this is still sticking great to the trash and recycling cans in the kitchen.

Had two identical trash cans no one but me could figure out. Love these decals! I wish they had a mix of all three in color: gray trash, blue recycle, green compost. I’d get that for my upstairs trash in a heartbeat.

I have 2 can outdoor seeing rain and shine and the stickers are holding great!

We switched trash companies recently. Because we recycle a lot, I wanted their 95 gallon barrel for recycling as well as trash. (They normally use a smaller barrel, with a blue lid, for recycling.)When we got our new barrels, it was instantly obvious that I would have to mark them. I didn't want to have to lift both lids every time to figure out which one was trash or recycling.These stickers are smaller than I was expecting, but true to size. They applied easily. I put one on the lid and one on the front of each barrel. I hope this makes it easier for the driver as well, so that he doesn't have to guess which barrel.My only concern is that these may not last that long. It has been 3 months, but I don't know if they'll survive a Midwestern summer and winter. We'll see.

just peel off the backing and slam them on. keeps the trash/Recycling sorted out for the visitors.

Just what I needed

I have a dual compartment trash can, and these little magnets were great for labeling which side was for recycling and which was for trash. If you move the trash can itself, the magnets can slip/slide around, but I haven't had any problems with adhesion when the can is left in one place.
