(Origami Yoda #5) (Volume 5) Review: love love love! - I love love love love LOVE this series! and btw, I am in my 40s. Also - all of you up in arms about the "sexual orientation" chapter - get a GRIP!!!! there is absolutely NOTHING offensive in this chapter. Yes, the statement is made that a student is ostracized becuase he is "gay". AT NO TIME is it stated that GAY means anything at all. If your child is not ready to learn that lesson, you are free to explain it any other way you please! Do not crap all over Tom Angleberger because you are not smart enough to come up with something to explain something to your kids! I teach riding lessons, and I had a seven year old girl ask me last week why a horse was doing some things, and the answer was "well, she's in heat" but I couldn't say that so I really quickly came up with "she'd like to have a baby". Kids are much, much smarter than we give them credit for. These books are outstanding, and the message in THIS book is the best of them so far. I sincerely hope Mr. Angleberger keeps 'em coming! Review: AMAZING BOOK - This book is great, but there are so many critics in the reviews. Some parents are mad because the boon says the word "carp" I think this is ridiculous because pretty much every child older than nine says the word "carp" all the time, even if you don't realize it. And the chapter about Murky being "gay" shouldn't be a problem if you are over the age of 9, kids should know that there is nothing h g wrong with being gay, but of course there's always gonna be those overprotective parents that will never release their children into the real world. AMAZING BOOK 10/10. And those parents just need to stop...

Entertaining for my 11 year old and 7 year old sons
This book is targeted for younger boys and is a good fit for the rest of the series. We have since purchased all the books as my sons love creating, reading the funny stories, and then talking about it afterward. I find them to be a brain drain and very silly, but I haven't seen or read anything inappropriate. The origami projects are fun for the kids. If you have like the other books in the series, this will be a good addition to your collection

We enjoy this series!
My nine year old loves this book! He’s read through the entire series twice. He has a huge collection of origami now. Be sure to check out Tom’s YouTube videos. My son has spent countless hours learning from them.

Another Great book
These Origami Yoda Book series are Great! My son Loves reading these books. I think he has read each book at least twice already. He recently told me he likes this Princess Labelmaker and how it is continuing the series. He hasn't finished this book yet, but he is enjoying it. For anyone who is a Star Wars fan and wants to have their child/ren into it also, this book series is definitely good start.
