My Word! You are My You are My Sunshine Decorative Sign, Cream with Grey Lettering 8 5x16 inches

When browsing through giftware on Amazon, I came upon this somewhat rustic graphic sign which spelled out the lyrics to the Old Fashioned Tune "You are my Sunshine". Having recently sung that song long distance to my differently abled daughter, I knew it had to be a Christmas present to me, something tangible to look upon in fond recognition of a young life I treasure, despite difficulties I won't mention. It is very well executed, a fine decorative accent for most décor styles, and the fact that it supports American workers and craftspersons is a win-win in my book. They create and market a number of similar signs, and if you like your artwork to reflect you sentiments or values I can't of a better option than the My Word! brand of American signage.

This was perfect for my oldest granddaughter as I taught her this song as she was 3years old.It has been our song ever since.She knew who sent it the minute she got it.She will be 40 this year.

Colors not as bright as is depicted on the web page (yellow/cream/black), but bright enough for my bathroom. A bit like old faded sign, or shabby chick. Definitely NOT grunge. Size is just right for a smallish bathroom or smallish area, but would be perfect in wall grouping with similar items on a larger wall.Construction is solid painted on the fiber board type backing. Sturdy. It's not a photo glued to backing. It's neatly painted. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I gave it to my granddaughter who is 5 months old. I sing this song to her every day. And when she cries, Grammy sings this to soothe her. And it works!!

It was exactly what it said had described. My Granddaughter loved it! It’s always been “our song “ and she’s now a teenager. 🌹
