I think it is very efficient for carrying charms.
I bought a length of silk necklace to hang this on as my sister is allergic to metal chains.all charms seem to fit. but the Thomas Sabo ones are larger.

Great product but compatibility not clear
The carriers are lovely but they didn't fit the bracelets i bought which was disappointing. It is not clear on the description what other Thomas Sabo items they are compatible with. Therefore check before you buy
