you need this game. i laughed. i cried. i yelled. the music is piano the entire game, and it really pulls you in and makes you feel emotionally attached to the characters. this game is sooooo good! you need it. buy it. its worth every penny. IMPORTANT: i spent almost 40 hours playing it. loved every minute of it. the voices are in japanese, with no english audio option. ALL the text is in english (for english consoles). this version with the english cover, comes with the japanese cover as well (and not a reverse cover), it includes 2 full covers in the case. be careful taking the first layer of plastic off this tho, cause the english cover is shrink wrapped outside the japanese game. the sticker on the game cart itself is in japanese.

Only problem I had was that it was advertised as English packaging. It was actually a sealed Japanese version with the English art stuck to the outside of that and sealed for a second time. Because I didnt realize this, the artwork tore while I was opening it and is pretty much useless for me. Kinda pointless since you can get the Japanese version elsewhere for less.

This game is very somber. Yes, there's a lot of snow and not a lot of biodiversity. It's just the setting of the game. The music is solely piano solos and it's gorgeous. The theme is very sad and the combat isn't bad. Tokyo RPG Factory might be a crap company with mediocre games, but this game is actually good. I had my eyes set on this game for some reason, and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger on it. It's beautiful in its own weird way.

Finally a physical copy of this game! I played it on PC sometime last year and loved it for what it was. Finally bought a Switch and thought hey, there's an English version of it out there somewhere, let's get it for the shelf. Opening it was an emotional rollercoaster. I feared the worst when I saw that another cover lie beneath the English cover and the first 2 layers of sealing. Put it in the switch, played in English, though, so simply switched the covers out and all good.

Beautiful Game with a JRPG story that is fun!Don't pass this one up! I have been playing it for at least 30 hours now...Snow covered scenes and easy combat ( Well some bosses are tough)Pass this one up and you will be sorry!Just finished the GAME.....Love the Ending.AS Peter Falk said in Princess Bride ( "Who says life is fair?")NOTE: someone else commented on the TEXT based decisions that you make during the game... Great game. This is still the Asian version of the game. You are paying extra for the English Cover which was outside the case. You have to insert it in the case yourself. If you don't mind the Japanese version which is in English still, got with that to save a few dollars.

It is GREAT to have another physical release of a fantastic Square Enix game. I also found that Square Enix actually glued the english cover over a sealed Japanese game. So, if you can imagine a sealed copy with the Japanese cover, then they glued the English cover over the sealed copy and sealed it again!I was able to "free" the English cover with a whole lot of patience and now have a perfect English cover release. The game can be played in English obviously or I wouldn't have bothered with this. Here is a video describing what they did and the link from Amazon where I purchased it. Might be useful to someone as if you are not careful you will simply RIP off the English cover just trying to get the game open!This is a great game and I am still giving it five stars not only for being a great game but also being released in physical form AND with English boxart, but I cannot stress how careful you must be opening this and cutting off the plastic wrap from the glue tabs (do not try to peal the glue!!). Do it wrong and you will lose the English cover. I took my time and mine is perfect. I would put that whole experience right in the realm of applying a screen protector....agitating.

I got this title cuz it wasn’t going to have a US release for the Switch and for the most part it’s a Good game! Reminded me a bit of an original retro classic “Chrono Trigger”, just a bit.

The game got here in perfect conditions and in the correct day. It’s a must buy game for a rpg fan.
