So I recently was given an ambassador 3ds by my brother and to say this poor thing has been well loved would be an understatement. The screens weren't too badly damaged however the top screen has the horizontal scratches that all OG 3ds are suseptible to getting from the bottom screen. To keep things from getting worse I purchased these. The first one went on perfectly on both screens with no issues and you can barely tell they are there and the bottom screen loses 0 sensitivity. The only issue I have is that fingerprints show up suuuuuuper easily with these but that's not a big deal to me. Overall would purchase again and definitely recommend!

After applying the touchpad protector, I could not use the stylus whatsoever, no matter how much pressure I applied. Because no one else in the reviews was complaining about it I figured it was improper application on my part, which turned out to be true. After the initial scare it's worked like a charm. To address some other reviews, this product is ONLY for the old 3DS, NOT the New 3DS, 3DS XL, or 3DS LL. If you were not aware, each of these devices is different, so please find out which one you have before purchasing. Some tips for those who have not installed screen protectors before. The sticker to remove dust is meant to be used on the bottom of the screen protector itself, not on the screen. The wipes are meant to clean the screens before application. Use wet first, then the dry. You're meant to peel off the back cover, apply the protector, and then remove the front cover, but I find it easier to remove both before applying. Working bubbles out after the screen protector is laying flat isn't the best idea. Pushing out the bubbles around the edges is fine, but bubbles in the middle are usually due to dust being in-between. Pull up the protector by prying a corner with a needle and use your sticker to remove dust from the bottom of the protector. If you're sure there's no dust in the middle but there are still bubbles, run your stylus lightly over the whole screen in a zigzag motion.

System works well and description was accurate

So, the screen protectors are good overall in my opinion. However, I do have some problems with the upper screen protector, as it only covers the animation screen and not anything else, I understand why so I don't consider it a major problem, just slightly annoying in my opinion. No, the real problem is the installation, as it was confusing to install since it had two layers to peel off, and I didn't understand which one's the sticky part and which one is the normal screen, even if there was a label. Had to waste one or two before understanding which one's which. And even then, it was hard to install the upper screen because of the size it covers, wasted 2 before getting the 3rd one in perfectly. The lower screen is easy to install though, it was a perfect fit into the crevice.

Works great! Having 4 of each was helpful because I ended up bidding it with the top screen over the first time. Use the dust stickers! It helps! Everything you could need to apply a screen cover is in this pack. Highly recommend.

The screen protector scratches as soon as a stylus touches it. The other bad thing about this is they put a sticker on the front side of the screen protector to apparently help takeoff the plastic on the back but all it does is leave adhesive residue on the screen as well as not even ripping off properly. I scratched the screen protector putting it on because this sticker did not come off properly and I had to scrape off adhesive. I would return if there were more options available out there.

SUPER easy to get on, hardly noticeable once they’re in place, and hasn’t affected the sensitivity of the touch screen at all! I’m really happy with these even though they were pricey.
