Does anyone have trouble cleaning the inside of the handle? I can’t seem to open it and it got food in it, thanks

We are happy to tell you that our blending bowl is designed so that you can separate the parts for a thorough cleaning! The outer-design of our bowl is made up of 3 parts: the bowl itself (which is one solid clear piece, so the food inside does not come in contact with anything in the handle), the base (ring at the bottom), and the handle cover (piece that sits on top of the clear handle). Because of small gaps, it is possible for water (or even food) to become trapped inside. does the water tank or any other compartment have teflon coating?

The only "compartment" is the water reservoir. There is no coating on the water reservoir. It is made in stainless steel 304L.

What type of water goes into the reservoir? Can it be tap water or should it be bottled water?

Any "clean" water can be used. Tap water is fine as long as it is water you would drink. Regardless of the water type you will see minerals left behind in the reservoir.

Can you boil (for sterilization purpose) the plastic blender and basket?

We do recommend that you sterilize the Babycook parts, however, they are dishwasher safe on a normal setting. As always, hand washing with warm water and soap will prolong the life of the product.
